yes, they had some harder songs, but for the most part, they aren't hard rock.

Just like GnR had some softer songs, that doesn't make them a soft rock band. Just like the song my world, that doesn't make them rappers either.

Sure the beatles have some hard rock songs with some nice guitar, but for the most part they are soft rock/rock n roll/pop. i do like the beatles, but i wouldn't really say they are hard rock. then again, what the hell kind of genre is hard rock. what's to say something is rock, hard rock, metal, heavy metal, etc. It's all opinion, and that's my opinion dude.
