i think snakepit was not that big kind of a thing (sales) back in day to be released as sheet music. ain't life grand itself was almost not released on cd. for the newer stuff I think the market is dead since ultimatetabs etc. I think there was licklibrary release for the slash solo album, at least.

got it. stucked with so far under at the moment. love the darkness of the song.
happy to have some new AIC music! they're obviously not done yet
like the design, but that packaging is really poor for a lp, and its dirty as fuck, gave it a quick clean and now fight the electrostatics, why on hell does one sell that this way. well, a 192kbit mp3 download coupon speaks for itself ah, forgot the edged side d, for what...

today I spinned Zeus! - motomonotono which I got at a concert this summer. great and crazy stuff and a surprisingly good and clean pressing.

The first thing Izzy could/should do is to release his post-On down the road-albums in lossless quality.
I accept that he doesn't want to release them as physical records (CD or vinyl) but what I still don't get is why in 2018 there still isn't a chance to download them anywhere as wav or flac files. How can any musician release his albums in shitty mp3 or streaming quality only?! I just don't get it.
I would be so thankful to replace the shitty apple/mp3 albums with proper quality. Like a Dog first, please.
And I definetly wouldn't mind some more Izzy vinyl in my collection, only proper pressings please.

Since I have no info about who’s signed, the map is only based on info I can track from whoever shared the link on social media (the map is done lovingly by hand, it’s not computer-generated or anything), the point of the map is to thank people for sharing, and to get shares in new countries, to reach new people, to get more signatures. Let me know where you’ve been sharing from and I’ll happily put your red dot on the map for the 4th update of the map.
i didn't share myself cause i don't do social media, asked my lady to do so via IG. red dot for Switzerland

Hey guys I’m new to the forum but love lithos like crazy. I finally was able to get Philly from the 2017 leg and was wondering where you guys would rank it with lithos from the rest of the tour
welcome @Domscar20
like the movie and thus the litho but can't rank it with the other from NA (excluding NYC and LA). Orlando swamp, Chicago 1 16, and Frisco are among my favorites.

I'm curious if you guys have any lithos from other bands? I got one from the Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats show I was at a week ago, looks pretty good, though it's not city-specific like the GNR ones. I have a Foxy Shazam tour poster too, a bit larger than a standard litho and I got it signed by the whole band. I know Black Sabbath had litho's on The End tour, but I didn't get one at the show I went to.
Got some of Baroness, Swans, Kvelertak. Killer quality, all of them!
this year also got a litho of a perfect circle, signed by the band.

as far as I know the name gnr is still axl's property. as such, slash and duff cannot decide on their own what gnr is doing without agreement and support by axl. one might consider them as employes therefore. however I believe in contrast to dizzy, richard, Melissa, and that beatsucker trying to play drums, s&d are partners of gnr on creative terms and probably have a say on whether they are fine with plans of axl (and tb). so they are in a position where they can say 'not that shit with my name on it' or 'only if my girlfriend is allowed to annoy the audience from the side of the stage'. but they are not in a position to decide that gnr is going to release an album soon.
I hope that s&d (and izzy of course) will heavily be involved in future writing processes, not only adding their tracks to an almost finished production

...Axl’s got a ton of shit that he got recorded already, so we’re just going to get in there and just start getting into that thing...
doesn't sound as if slash and duff are about to contribute significantly to the writing. so ain't no new gnr record but an axl solo #2 under the name of...
and thanks for the killer guitar melodies, slash

playing through whole Appetite (excl YC) and lots of the illusion stuff works quite well, I would never call it perfectly played though. especially some of Izzy's rhythm work I find hard to copy perfectly. not sure if Izzy ever repeated the way he plays a song. Slash's solos are generally challenging but I rarely tried to do them note by note.
recently I found ain't it fun, get in the ring and new rose fun to play. next I'll try garden of eden. don't know why I never did that, the bridge riff is killer IMO
-
remember that I was no more listening to gnr for a long time, probably over 10 years. heaven opened up when I finally put on appetite again - this fucking record, I'll never get tired of it. I'll probably take my op with me the day I die or it will be there spinning when I go

Huh, thanks to instagram we have oodles of photos of Slash and Duff just sitting around near spreads of food in their separate rooms. They haven't been busy with interviews. They cant just walk around town. Mel is so bored she is left to discuss every piece of candy that she consumes, at length. So, I do not believe that they have been too busy to discuss an album.
well said and unfortunately true

if they do an ac/DC record, Brian on vocals is a logical and good decision. axl making guest appearance or contributing to a song as a writer would be great to listen to.
if Angus wants to to something with axl, or the other way around, the result would not be ac/dc and would better be labelled as a separate project cause axl would not give up creative control of the music but in ac/dc Angus is the boss. even axl is a fan of ac dc, i dont think he will do a full record as a hired gun.
additionally, I don't think Angus takes the risk that the album vocalist is only available sporadically. the axl/dc thing was a great and surprising trek, but it also was possible or fitted in the schedule at that time. this ain't likely the case the next 2 years. at least I hope that axl will somehow occupied with gnr.
whatever is going on in Vancouver I look goddamn forward to the product

I'll expect rocket Queen to be in the set as it's part of the slash solo spots.
wouldn't mind if they skip the remainder gnr catalog cause they definitely have plenty of material. anyways I love Todd on crazy and OTGM.
don't thnk theyll skip slither
