I mean it is what it is.
But rolling MyGNRForum into Downzy, LLC. would prevent your person from being the sole subject of litigation, i.e.: Gn’R could mount a legal case (lol) and sue for damages but only the corporate entity not your own personal assets.
I would absolute love to see their case outside of C&D fearmongering.
GNR is an embarrassment.

My solution is not going to Guns N' Roses concerts, buying Guns N' Roses merchandise, following Guns N' Roses on social media, etc.
Until management is changed and fans are shown respect, that's my permanent solution.
Get on board, TB/GNR or uh...

I'm unaware of what has gone on behind the scenes but...
Why not move towards a new webhost with a bit of a backbone and/or one that will attempt to verify certain obviously untrue claims?

Hahaha, no.
This is bordering on parody.
Trent’s lyrics switch between an autobiographical and detached first person present to a passionate, direct second person and comment on addiction, suicide, women, and capitalism. Axl’s dabbled in these topics but never with too much grit or a level of accompanying romanticism.
Axl’s lyrics are abstract, passive, and in a word: dramatic. He’s never met a metaphor he didn’t like. Instead of focusing on narrative, Trent is forensic and rarely poetic. The music is equally as brash.
Trent’s arrangements show a greater level of discipline but also a greater level of rigidness. He started to loosen up a bit when he got into the poppier Year Zero and With Teeth but the structure is let a loop/sequence play out and when it starts to get old change the key or switch directions.
For all Axl’s pretense about getting into new and/or industrial territory, none of the songs are based around loops and always have the same structure. Overdone intro, verses, chorus, verse, bridge, chorus, outro with elements of intro. It’s one reason why I found “Oh My God” so refreshing. First-person, direct, heavy, a bit different and way different from the CD song structures.
Nine Inch Nails songs are vocals high in the mix, drumbeat heavy, and washes of electronica. Guitar functions as a pure tone or tone enhancer. In AFD they’re set pieces, Chinese set pieces or orchestral.
In short, “Oh My God” is the only one I’ll accept but still, eh, not really. It’s Axl doing industrial. The rest of the songs? Not even close to NIN.

i guess e-meters are allowed at concerts, cause they are not listed in that email. W. Axl Rose = L. Ron Hubba Bubba. Wanker Aldodge is like Tommy Davis. At least Rick left that cult for good.
Exactly what an SP would say.

What an unpleasant person.
I don’t understand why they are all so aggressive towards fans in every comment. It’s very strange.

Because Axyl isn’t a demigod and should be held accountable like anyone else.
And I like cheeseburgers but when McDonalds sells another billion, I’m not gonna do cartwheels in the streets over it.

I’d love to chat with Axl about what Chinese Democracy was about from his perspective and what, if anything he was trying to get across.
I have a lot of questions.

I can’t decide between RMCD#1 and Double Guitars. Both are incredible and have a nice full but raw sound to them.
I really like Single Guitars too because we get to hear Tommy’s nasty bass line but it’s a little empty.
Josh Freese is the mang, mang.

- Shanklers Revenge- Buckethead likely listened to Shackler's on the album and thought to himself "Look how they've slaughtered my boy"
Perfect review!
My thoughts exactly.

Close but no cigar.
More butchery.
This version is way better with the raw guitars and heavier synth.
It has a more of an uptempo, easy-listening, and diverse feel to it.
100/10.

Soul / Elvis is god tier.
The drum/bass section of Circus is pure filth.
Thyme sounds like a Disney movie score. I like it because it’s so bizarre and anti-rock. Very interested to hear PRL now.
Dolphin piano piece has potential.
The rest, take em or leave em.

The leaks sound incredible.
I'd say from Rough Mixes CD #1-#3, excluding material that made Chinese Democracy, Axl has 5 really strong cuts and a couple of very interesting B-Sides.
The only legitimate points Bob Ezrin has is that these aren't always highly commercial, mainstream songs. They lack big solos, the themes are more mature, and Axl's lyrics can be alienating.
But Madagascar, Prostitute, The Blues and the new songs like Atlas, Perhaps, and Oklahoma belong in the conversation of the top of Gn'R's Pantheon.
It doesn't matter, criticism be damned, this all should've been released a long time ago.
It's a shame.
Hope we get vocals on the instrumental tracks and an official release somewhere shortly down the pike.

Josh or Brain
in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS
Posted
I have been paged.
New GNR is an attempted thoughtful recreation of the original lineup. The punk bassist that gels well with the punk pop drummer. McKagan/Adler and Stinson/Freese. Easy parallels.
Just like with original GNR and new GNR, when Freese left, something valuable was lost in the chemistry of the band. Was something gained? Debatable. I’d say yes, but more was lost than gained. Another debate, another day...
Josh’s fills and outros are heavenly. Thank god for these latest leaks that we finally get to hear them. Load up TWAT and take a listen to the outro. The drum version of Bucketheads solo... If you listen to Brains work it’s dumbed down and you can feel him being tentative because he’s a little out of his depth.
TL;DR: Dig em both but Josh is the better drummer by far and better drummer for Guns. Josh’s style lends towards the rock-oriented stuff and Brain lends towards the big arena rock stuff (just like Sorum). Just him away from ballads. “Good ol Brain... bash the hell out of a love song”.
