Out of all the completed Village demos that didn't make CD, this is the one that would benefit the most from the instrumental being reworked
The first minute or so is very promising, sounds like it's building to a massive chorus but doesn't really go anywhere after that. It has a Southern rock feel that Slash can really enhance, it's in his wheelhouse
Just like CITR.

What’s the name of the locker leaks mid tempo song without any vocals? Perhaps 5 minutes long or so. Sounds very late 90’s (because it is).

Yes, it has been confirmed by Brain. She's not that young (she's 40 now).
So he’s 80 then.

My review: eh. Grows on you after multiple listens but if it had been released as an official single for an upcoming album, I'd be incredibly disappointed.
This ain’t pop. It’s okay that it’s growing the more you listen to it.

Just making fun .. I'm sure it's going be just as epic sounding as we believe it to be. Bach described it as the angriest he's ever heard Axl. I don't think he was exaggerating. The orchestral underlayer we've known for a while now is reason enough to believe this song will live up to its legend.
Angrier than Perfect Crime? Doubt it.

Wait...wasn't it claimed somewhere that The General became State of grace. Soon we will know.
I wouldn’t mind.

I have high expectations regarding State of Grace.
It seems that every release is getting better (starting with Absurd).

Fake grain is what it is. But the saturated warm colors looks "inspired" by their Ritz-video they released. Looks cool.
Sweet video, for being a "basic" live-montage among a sea of live-montage music videos.
In what way isn't cassette (read: collector's stuff) in 2023
It is, but less than vinyl (in volume / interest).
-
They obviously publish the collector’s stuff (read: vinyl) first. I’m sure CD and perhaps cassette will come later (before late October).

The guitar 10 seconds in reminds me of Blur - Country House.

You know what? This would be the first time when I'd actually avoid any leak and wait for the official tune. Now that we know it's just two months ahead anyway. I'd give the leak a go later, but not before.
Yup. Listening to the leaks in 2019 was the right thing to do as it took four years to release one song (or was Hard Skool there too, I don’t remember).
I’ve never heard The General and as it’s at most two months away I will ignore any leaks.

They could have done a MJ estate style release with these singles and the b dudes could have been the old versions?
Absurd (new mix)
Silkworms (2006 mix)
Silkworms (99 version)
And so on for Perhaps and Hard Skool
No thanks.
30 years from now? Perhaps.

Yes, played every hour it seems.

Very loud bass on the broadcast?

honestly, I wasn't sure. I thought that it might happen at that date, but it wasn't official so always leaving the possibility open that shit won't get released until it actually gets released is very good advice when it comes to Gn'R imo.
as I said before many times, Axl himself said Chinese was coming out in 2006, gave tentative release date and it still got delayed and I think he truly believed it was coming out that year,
now, circumstances are maybe different, but not different enough to treat any sign of a release like it's a sure thing.
having said that, I'm surprised at the reactions to this latest incident as it wasn't official and it seems very likely that Perhaps is going to be officially released in the very near future and it's a song we've already have a leaked version of.
Before that it was coming out in May 2001.

Perhaps it was supposed to be 8th of November.

Are we sure Bumblefoot won't end up on CD2?
Just to be on the safe side.
Leaks seem to diminish appreciation of final versions

When the finished song gets released, delete the leak(s). In ten years you’ll have forgotten how the demo sounded.
