You can open up your laptop.

You can purchase 2.5" chassis to put a laptop hard drive in. You just have to get the right one. You will either have SATA or IDE connectors.

Buy the correct chassis and you'll be able to plug your hard drive via USB into your new laptop.

If a laptop doesn't charge then sometimes the power supply can blow - just get a new power supply and it'll be sorted. Test it out with a multimeter first though to check.

Buy a dual layer DVD. Hopefully you will already have a dual layer burner.

What file type is it? An ISO? If so then its easily burnable.

Tools > Options > Advanced.

I went down to my local music shop, i tried the ministack and a mg250dfx and also a line 6 spider III 75w which i really liked i think i may get the Line 6 amp. I will be back at the shop on monday to choose.

thats probably the 2 most hated amps, have you tried a vox ad(whatever wattage you want) or roland cube? these 2 are said to be realy good for the money, are you in a band or play at home? if you play at home you realy dont need a 75w amp

Its a rubbish 75w though. My 15w Gibson Goldtone could easily beat an AVT150 on volume. I have a 75w Line6 Spider II and it really isn't a bad practice amp. If you haven't got any FX pedals my vote goes to the Line6.

I wouldn't dare on this new laptop, it's too precious Buuttt, for some reason every singly bloody time I download a game - any game - it just decides to bugger up everything, most commonly the internet (of all things huh) doesn't work. programs stop responding and the whole thing just crashes.

For once, I agree with you. People bitch and whine about waiting 90 seconds and then a few hours to redownload something. Rapidshare premium is the way to go. Not that I condone illegal downloads - but its used for so much more.

All your problems should be solved.

The first thing many viruses do is bury themselves in the System Restore data folders. Normally when cleaning the virus out of the system you would remove all available restore points to be rid of it from there.

Max, bone nut doesn't matter. Hell it's even plastic on vintage guitars. a burst comes with plastic nut.

Exactly my point. You pay shitloads for a decent guitar and the maker cuts corners which cost them pence.

Different types of nut would alter the tone of the guitar - and bone would beat plastic anyday.

You need to completely redo the nut to acommodate the complete change in string thickness. New nut would mean taking it to a guitar tech. You can get away with filing it but the guitar would end up playing like a pile of crap.

Why not buy a leftie Tele?

Martin guiars are awesome one set up. You pay £1500 - £2000 for an acoustic with a plastic bridge and nut which is insane. For the higest quality bone would only cost them £10< to put in place.

yes, that works in FF2. I've upgraded to FF3 and ive changed the content settings and such to exactly that it was in FF2 so i guess ill learn to deal.

Lowering the action will allow for easier and faster playing, but if you're tapping you would want it raised otherwise the strings will be hitting other frets. You really have to hit your own sweet spot.

Lowering/raising action is one thing, but remember you cannot adjust the height at the nut unless you shave it down or make a new one.
