I was there! Best show ever!

    Axl, Slash...please never stop!

We were afraid of St. Louis Cancellation, we have to travel to US from my country....we had plane and concert tickets. We were 6, I almost decline to travel but we decide to go AND if the concert were cancel, well we always have fun in Fort Lauderdale. Knoxville was a sign of relief.

The Warning Is awesome. Trio of mexican girls. Awesome performers. GNR came out with all cilinders. Perhaps Is incredible and Estranged...always cry with that song. Coma, Patience and Paradise City...the end. I Will never understand the people who wants a show with only 2 hours...this one was 3 hours AND 10 minutes AND I wanted more AND More. The final bow give me sadness....this Is the fourth show that I saw AND I felt a little like a goodbye...I wanted to wait if I saw Axl at the end....but my husband want to go to party in Las Olas.

Hi Georgina! Did you come up to me in the restaurant and ask about my shirt? If not, forgive me 😂

Great show. On the rail near the edge of the stage on Slash's side was incredible. Watching him play from 6 feet away is something I'll never forget. The sound was great. They had little speakers in front of the stage so I could clearly hear all of the layers of sound included all of the backing vocals.

A couple of times I could hear the strumming of Slash's guitar strings directly. Axl was in a good mood and pretty chatty. He clarified after Perhaps that he wasn't wrong.  He complemented the venue and said he was being genuine. Towards the end of the show his IEM box died and he yelled over to side stage, "it's dead." I never thought I'd be close enough to hear Axl on stage without a microphone.

It is interesting that he spends his time during the instrumental parts rotating between blowing his nose, hocking loogies and telling jokes to Melissa..

Set list was very good and Axl sounded good for the most part. I didn't think I was transported to 1991 but it was good enough that I prefer what I heard tonight to singing high pitched songs in baritone. I'm not positive but I think Melissa might actually sing the screams in Absurd. Axl kept pointing to her and it looked like she was singing. If she was triggering a recording she wouldn't need Axl to give her a queue nor would he point out that she's doing a good job pressing a button.

That's it for now. Maybe I'll have some other comments tomorrow.

Enjoyed it! Thanks for meeting up and our plan worked out great 😊

I don’t have much to add other than this was my wife’s 4 GNR show and afterwards she said she couldn’t believe how great Axl sounded compared to the last 3 shows.

    It was an incredible night.

Jwalker were you and your mom in the pit? Maybe that was you behind us?

The basic rule is, someone goes to a show, has a good time, then says "best time I've ever seen them, as good as 2006, sure he wasn't good at the gig before which I didn't go to, or the one following it, but at the gig I went to he was phenomenal and it was special".

Then you have loads of people watching shitty camera phone footage which sounds awful saying Axl sounds appalling now. Until they pay their own money to go to a show, where they revert to the position above.

The reality is, as usual, somewhere in between.

And to think you use to fall into “the other” camp. But this year you ponied up and actually went to show VS watching you tube.

Seriously I’m very proud of you :-)

I feel like they did take some extra steps to help him this tour. The backing vocals are utilized a lot more and they added songs that are easier to sing like PTU and BO. Vocals sounded good in person at the Fenway gig. It’s more than acceptable for a live show. The dude is 60

Yes. Don’t know what it sounds like on YT but in person it was very good. Miles better than the 21 tour.

To those who weren’t there, check out SLITHER on YouTube. He fell and played it off in the coolest most Axl Rose way ever.

I remember my heart sinking when Madagascar was played. Never heard that one, even when I saw them with NuGuns. Truly, a special song.

It was really a cool moment. At first we were like wtf….he didn’t miss a beat.

Haha was a long night sure especially after walking/waiting on Uber.

People asking for up to $10,000 for resale tickets for the Florida gig, would like some of what they're smoking

Those (at least time I checked) was the VIP sofas behind the pit which comes with drink service. And there was only 1 pair.

I believe they were $2k a piece when released. It was what I was hoping for but by time my number came up on TM they were all gone.

I’m keeping an eye on tix for that show. As of right now I have pit tickets but I may buy another pair. Not sure I can make it 5 hours standing 😑

Have the reunited Guns ever extensively played outdoor amphitheaters?  I'm aware of a few in the original run of the band - as well as at least one stop at the Gorge in Washington State?

It looks like Saragotga might be the only stop?  Everything else looks like a sports stadium or basketball/hockey arena?

Maybe. The concert to go to, IMHO, if you can swing it is the Hard Rock in sept.

Not in this (GNR)case. end stage always start with  the same sections on the right and left of the stage .

capacity its been the same for ALL 3 Gnr shows, you wanna know why? because all the tickets  were available for sale.

look at Pittsburg stadium,  all the sections are available for sale ( i guess around 30k+ seats)  they have sold what? 10k? they already skipped every row on the upper sections  etc (comp/give away/ exchanges)

they wil  mark that show  as over 85% capacity  guaranteed.

    Um….no it doesn’t.

And would you agree how large/small the pit is makes a difference in “seating capacity”?
