The same happened to me at Maine Road, but we didn't know the show was cancelled until we arrived at the gig, there was no radio on the coach. They rescheduled the show for the following Sunday and yes we went and had a great time. The gig was cancelled not because of an imminent CD release but because Axl had had a row with SS. Shit happens in life, not just ours but the bands aswell. If you're such a big fan you just have to ride the roller coaster ride that is GnR. I went to three shows this summer and until I heard the 'Do you know where..... I didn't believe Axl would turn up. But he did and they were 3 of the best gigs I've seen. If you don't go you will always regret it as we never know when the ride will end for ever!

Ya I agree if u were that big of a fan u would of known the show was postponed a week or 2 ago like the rest of us did. If u are a 35 year old woman cryin real tears cause you have to wait a few more weeks to see guns then I suggest u seek help. I had tix to this show and am glad he postponed it we all want the CD and frankly I don't give a rusty fuck if the final mixing or whatever is an inconveinience for you. Get over it and go see them in 07 or not I'll still have a killer time without ya rock1

Wait until a day or 2 before the show and check again w/ ticketmaster. Or better yet if it's anything like the U.S. shows buy a ticket from someone @ the venue w/ extras, the going rate 10 mins b4 the doors open is a box of popcorn and pack of cigarettes for GA. I had to eat 2 $150 tix to a sold out show at the Hard Rock and I fucking tried my ass off to sell them only ditched 1 out of 3 and that one for $75 measly bucks!! After the San Diego and Bakersfield shows were cancelled I got a refund cause I know damn well I can do better from a scalper. Even ebay a week-1 day b4 works well if ur lookin to save $

According to HTGTH the show has been rescheduled for Jan 16th. At the tail end of the US tour so far anyways. At least we should be hearing more new songs by then. I don't really care cause I've seen the 3 times in the last 2 weeks. If u r smart u will do what I did and get a refund on ur tix then just buy from ebay or a scalper right b4 the show. U will save money 9 times out of 10.

This is it after losing out on the xtra tix I had to the sold out vegas show to the lining up for the prsale only to see the fucking pit tix go on sale on ebay for $115 each I'm never buying any tickets from ticketmaster ever again. I will take my chances on ebay the day before or in line at the venue 9 time out of 10 I'll save $$$$!!

Maybe the new band just doesn't want to freakin' learn every song that was made by somebody else?

Did anyone at the show notice he used a different mic 4 PC and threw that one into the crowd. He used his red mic the whole show then both nights switched to a regular one before PC and tossed it to the crowd.

Ha! I was at the bar w/ Bandita after last nights show she said she got u a shirt! There were no gnr chips that I saw. Also I met this kid in a wheelchair that said he was in Axl suite after the Sat. show he may be full of shit cause he said he talked to Axl for an hour an all he said was the album will be out b4 the end of the year and that original guns broke up because Slash couldn't get off heroin. He said he bitched about Slash alot. I don't know it I believe him or not anybody could cook this up for a little attention.

I have 3 Tickets for Sat night sold out show, I really didn't see this coming when there was a mad dash for the presale and everything, never thought I wouldn't be able tio get rid of them. Anyways I've got them on ebay buy it now for $100 each reserve @ $75. If somebody makes me an offer I'll most likely take it. I saw GNR at The Joint twice in 2001 and there was no opener for either show. GNR went on stage pretty late, which sucked, but I did get to meet Ron Jeremy, which was awesome.
