Don't blame GNR for the feed problems. This isn't a Guns N' Roses webcast, it's a webcast of a concert that just happened to feature GNR. Axl probably didn't really want it to be webcast anyway. Quite frankly, not to say that Axl doesn't care about all of you, but I'm sure in this band's mind, this concert was for the people who were there. Not the people who listened to it on the internet. I think some people need to realize that, particularly when they complain about the setlist. "It's the same every night!" Well, they're playing to different crowds every night. Anyone who knows anything about Axl's personality knows that he's not trying to impress the bootleg crowd. I think a lot of people need to put everything into perspective before throwing out another complaint about the band.

It says on Eddie's site that he's not even sure that he'll be able to do the show tonight, because he has some other commitment. He hopes to do a show, but if he can't he'll replay the last Axl show.

Sometimes I think maybe Axl shouldn't use the GNR name, but it's really just smart business. Could "Axl Rose" have headlined Rock in Rio or the Video Music Awards? I don't think so. There's lots of money in using the GNR name, and Axl's smart for doing it.

It was amazing. I got so lost and I was sure I wasn't going to make in on time. I got there around 11 and they told me it hadn't started yet. I got in the building, went to the bathroom, came out, and WTTJ started. I got all the luck.

This was incredible. When Axl said he was bringing out a friend, I expected it to be Izzy. I was a little let down, but still totally shocked, when Bach came out. That said, seeing them up there singing "My Michelle" was awesome.

Dizzy's piano solo was incredible, although it went on a bit long. Bumblefoot is a hell of a shredder. I don't think he's quite as good as Bucket, but he definitely fits into GNR better.

I'm not sure how I feel about the change to "The Blues". I don't quite see the point in altering the intro. The intro to CD was awesome. My biggest disappointment was the lack of a "DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE???????????" scream from Axl at the start of the show.

I can't believe I was in the same building with Axl. I was always so jealous of you guys whenever you shared stories of seeing GNR in '01` and '02, but now I'm one of you!

Yeah, I think Bucket and Brain were like a packaged deal. I have a feeling neither of them were ever really into being part of GNR, unlike Stinson and Fortus who seem to really enjoy it.

You know, having read the whole Zakk Wylde account of him meeting Axl (which was in about 2000 I think) I can say that when Zakk said "get the fuck out of here," he wasn't saying it TO Axl or in anger. When he was told Axl was there, he was like "Axl's here, get the fuck out of here!?!?" It was in disbelief. I doubt he's still mad about what happened in '95.

Got my ticket for the 12th...........Just one thing I'm a little worried about. When you guys put your credit card numbers in, did any of you put dashes in between every four digits of the card number? Like say for example xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx? I did, and I'm just worried that maybe the system will be confused and it will reject my order. I mean, I guess I should assume that if they didn't want numbers with dashes it would have rejected my card number right from the start, but the transaction hasn't shown up on my Wachovia account balance online yet............not that I really should expect it to, since it was only about 50 minutes ago. I'm just worried since I've been waiting so many years to see GNR live, I don't want to lose that chance. Oh man, I'm so paranoid.

Question for those who have ordered tickets from Ticketmaster online before:

What's the deal with the ability to have the tickets delivered by e-mail and print them out? Can you just print them out on a normal piece of paper and take them to the box office? They'll take them like that????

Well, there is one other concern. I want to take a train from Dover, NJ to NYC but on Monday the last one leaves at around 1:30. Think the show will be over by then? In most cases you would but with GNR you never know............

My office is in Brooklyn so I'm pretty familiar with the area. You're not going to want to drive or park in Manhattan. I'd suggest parking in a lot in Jersey City and taking the ferry or train into town. From there just take the subway to the stop nearest the venue. A $3 Metro Card will you to and from the show. If you plan on staying a couple days and doing some sightseeing, note that buying a $10 Metro Card will get you a free ride. If you're flying into NY, the NY Airport Service bus is a cheap way to get from the airport to your hotel. You can make reservations on their site: http://www.nyairportservice.com. Thanks for the info, but the thing is, and I don't want to sound like a pussy, but I'd be real wary of walking from 34th street to 42nd where the Port Authority is to get to the train at 1 in the morning. NY is a pretty rough place, right? I'm desperately afraid of getting hurt or killed.
