  1. 2Pac - Life goes on (sort of a rap-ballad)

Guns N Roses - Estranged (the song which describes my life best)

and several other GNR ballads like CD, NR, Patience...

Bon Jovi - Blaze of Glory

    Bon Jovi - Always

Velvet Revolver - You got no right

Velvet Revolver - Loving the alien

    Pearl Jam - Black

    (yeah,i am down very often  )

Nice choices, except for maybe Bon Jovi. They're kind of scary

My list would be identical to yours B)

  2. In order:

    • Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child (Slight Return)
    • Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing
    • Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird (Live)
    • Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
    • The Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps
    • Guns N' Roses - Breakdown

    Finally...

    • Peter Frampton - Do You Feel Like We Do?

  3. I have only heard their "popular" songs but I think they are great. Why? Cause they have stuck to the roots of Rock N' Roll when mainstream music was run by Grunge. Im DLing their whole Discography off eMule.

So what do you guys think of them? All opinions welcome rock4

  4. Anyone here know of any good Jimi Hendrix sites with live concert footage? Or if anyone can upload videos. I need them for school tomorow. It's not school related though. But im still in great need of them. If you need me to be more specific, tell me :D Thanks guys...

  5. I think Jimi is without a doubt one of the best guitar players ever. He had the ability to play CRAZY guitar (Voodoo Chile). As well as bringing it down a notch (Little Wing). So to end this, he is the one and only Jimi Hendrix... B)

  6. The poor guy has a point. To be honest, Rock is shit right now.

Except for maybe VR or something. We need the blues-rock to return.

When gay ass Grunge entered the scene (no offense) some bands kept the "blues-rock" alive.

The Black Crows and GN'R (minus the orchestra and back-up singers) just to name a few.

Bands like Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, and Yellowcard have destroyed the Rock n Roll name <_<

Damn these bands! We need Gn'R back!

  7. Any one heard of Nas? He's great. And for a time where rap is all about Sex, Drugs, and Violence...he's stuck to his roots. Another good artist that has stuck to the hip/hop roots is Talib Kweli. Both great artists B)

  8. Mine would have to Eleanor Rigby, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Rocky Raccoon, Hey Jude, Let It Be, and The Ballad of John and Yoko.

Every once in a while, it might be Come Together.

Please don't post here just to bash The Beatles. They deserve their respect as much as any other band we discuss here.

  9. The Beatles -- Please Please Me

The Beatles -- With The Beatles

    The Beatles -- A Hard Day's Night

The Beatles -- Beatles For Sale

    The Beatles -- Help!

    The Beatles -- Rubber Soul

    The Beatles -- Revolver

The Beatles -- Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

The Beatles -- Magical Mystery Tour

The Beatles -- The Beatles (The White Album)

    The Beatles -- Abbey Road

The Beatles -- Let It Be

hahaha, well, no... Check out Chuck Berry and other classic rock artists. Check out The Cure, man they're awesome. Check out The Who.

CHECK OUT FRANZ FERDINAND FOR MUSIC'S SAKE!

That's cool man. Recommend everything by The Beatles. I like it alot!

Back to topic: Anything by Eric Clapton & Jimi Hendrix.

  10. I thought it was genious once rap and hip-hop merged. Hence, Run-DMC & Aerosmith and Public Enemy & Anthrax.

Sure you weren't meant to write 'rock' somewhere in there?

Call me shit, but I don't listen to any myself.

    Oh yeah...woops

  11. I thought it was genious once rap and hip-hop merged. Hence, Run-DMC & Aerosmith and Public Enemy & Anthrax. The music world should revolutionize and merge once again! Of course with a decent hip-hop artist (Nas, Immortal Technique, Wu-Tang)

  12. I gotta defend my home boy Bongo here! I also think of the Rolling Stones as "Blues-Rock." And his post, yes very confusing, but dont hate just because he knows what hes talking about. Trust me, when it comes to music, Bongo knows alot!

    Later B)

  13. The Beatles were gods... Talented, inovative, genius... The clues they left behind for the supposed death of paul was genius!!!

Yes, the clues were great! Peep this! Im 14, in love with the Beatles and any other music of the time. I may not know much, but what I do know for sure is that if it wasn't for the Beatles, we wouldn't have the music we have now. They are all influenced by The Beatles one way or another. They changed the face of music and we should all be thankful! Thank you, John, Paul, Ringo, George, & that dude that replaced Paul after he "died!"

To the discussion about Ringo's drumming. I think some of his best drumming is in the song "Help!" But thats just me :D

  14. Through out the forums, many people (not gonna name anyone) have taken the liberty to bash rap/hip hop music. Why?! I find hip hop to be art in its own form. Have you people ever heard of Nas? Awesome, even poetic song writing! I gotta admit...the new stuff is shit. Like 50 Cent, TI and the list goes on! I understand if rap isn't your type of music. You are entitled to your opinions (according to the 1st amendment). I just think that this type of music should be appreciated and looked at as art like the way we look at Gn'R! ;)

    Later...

EDIT: Bash me all you want! I can care less B)
