I think you should take lessons for reasons previously mentioned. Plus, knowing the technical stuff - musical notation, etc - really helps out. Sure the best guitarists cant read music for the most part (i dont believe that they dont know ANYTHING about notation) but knowing stuff like that puts you a few steps ahead. when you truly understand the music you're playing everything else comes easy.

I would love to see him live. His stage presence gets you all hyped. His guitar tone in that video is awesome. Buddy guy knows how to work a crowd.

Too bad they only made on album. I like them a lot. My favorite song is Can't Find My Way Home. The version from the Hyde Park dvd is better. Clapton plays this one awesome solo. Good stuff. Great to see I'm not the only fan here.

Why is it that rocker people always like NWA and Public Enemy and whatnot? There are tons of better rappers than them (not taking away any credit from NWA and Public Enemy). I just find people like Common, Mos Def, Nas, The Roots, Big Daddy Kane and such to be WAY better.
