  2. Marc, do you have any idea when (demo)songs like Crash diet, Just another suday and Bring it back home where recorded? Some say that they where recorded for the Use your illusion albums but i'm not sure about this. I have this vinyl bootleg called Second take demo's which was released in 1990. This bootleg also contains demo versions of The Garden, Bad obsession, Back of bitch and so on. Is it possible that these songs where recorded somewhere around the Appetite recording sessions or between Appetite and Lies? This is the bootleg i'm talking about: http://www.spookeend.nl/gnr/second-take-demos/

  3. 3 years ago i made the decision to not visit any big shows/bands anymore, i just got tired of the huge ticket prices and the commerce around some bands. So i turned my back to this bands (Metallica, GNR, etc.) and started to search. Since then I learned to know and visited (a lot of) shows from many lesser known bands in the folk/pagan/black metal genre. The music from these bands pleases me more. Back on topic: The first show/festival which i'm gonna visit is Paganfest @ Tilburg (Netherlands).

  4. I bought this album yesterday at a flea market: Hymns by Johnny Cash (1959)

Nice. I need to get more Cash. I have all 6 American LPs and one classic Hits package, but that's it. I need to get both prison albums at a bare minimum.

The Cash/Dylan bootleg is also recommended.

  5. To me it's hard to tell why i like one album more than an other, it all has to do with the feelings that i get when i listen to the music. So, here are a couple of albums wich i really love to hear that where released this year:

    Mondvolland - Kwade vaart

    Fluisteraars - Dromers

    Solstafir - Otta

Primordial - Where greater men have fallen

One and all, together for home

How is the new Primordial album?

I'm not good in describing an album. This review comes close to what i think/feel about it.

  7. I have a question for ya'll vinyl geeks here. Recently i bought the Led Zeppelin I album. Now i'm trying to find out what year it was released etc. The only thing i could find about it is this: http://www.storenvy.com/products/4480627-led-zeppelin-led-zeppelin Everything from the vinyl i own completes with the description on that page, except for the matrix code on the record. My record has the number 40031 A machine-stamped on the a side and K 40031 B machine-stamped on the b side. By this i want to ask if anyone of you can help me out to find out some more information about the year of release, number of pressing and if there is a possibility that this record could be a bootleg version. Thanx. ;)

  9. When you watch the whole show (at the Music Machine) you will see and hear that they had some technical problems that night, wich probably had an influence on their performance. If you really want to see a killer club show i can suggest you this:
