  1. From BBF Facebook

‎1. About tomorrow's gig... :) Poc has been at my studio for the last 2 weeks while I produce her album. Making her music sound like *her* and what she feels is a true expression of her personality. Heavier, more guitars, more rock, more energy. The songs should have a hint of how the album will sound :)

‎2. This will be an interesting gig for me. My first one since the car accident. The accident was worse than I let on. I couldn't move my fingers or raise my arms in front of me, pain and uncertainty about the future was enough to look into suicide rather than 30 more years of constant pain. Couldn't speak fast or make simple decisions. I'm scared that I'll expose myself as less than who I was.

‎3. Been training hard constantly for 2 months, physical therapy, doctors, tests - but this is my first time playing a show with a guitar strap pressing on my neck, and numbing my left arm. Will do my best, that's all I can do. Hope to see you there :)

  2. Well you know, it's always like that with GN'R. There's a calm period and when they are back, it always creates a big hype with the fans. It's a cycle that we're getting use to. The reason that I'm optimistic is that every time they are back, it's always better than the previous time. Axl's voice is better, is mood is better, the band is better every time. I honestly think that they are getting something ready or that they are working on projects.

  3. Zint and ER, get a room!!!!

No honestly, thanks Zint for the kind words.

I never had a fight with another mod, well except Madison of course, and I want to keep it that way. As I said to UK, life is way too complicated to fight on a Internet forum!

  4. Congrats to Zint who's been promote as global moderator.

He's a great member and has always done a good job as a mod, so it's well deserved.

    Santé!

  5. I truly believe this is a sad day in the GN’R history.

Mygnr was the first fan website that I’ve visited years ago. Then I’ve discovered the forum.

First time I’ve met Eric was in NY for a GN’R show. I had a blast with him and he became a friend. Eric is truly one of the nicest people I have met.

This website was the only one that I’ve trust for GN’R news. I have met several members and I had a blast with all of them.

I was lucky enough to follow the band during a few shows in the Canadian tour. Partying with Axl and the band until the sun comes up is truly one of the best moments in my life. I want to thanks Eric for that opportunity. For the record, I didn’t have to do anything to be able to be there with the band!

Eric has lost a lot of money with the forum. We had a few talk about this problem and he was thinking about closing the forum for a few months now. I kept hoping that he would change his mind.

When I was contacted by Eric while he was in Cuba about the lawyer letter, I didn’t know what to think. It would have been so easy for GN’R clan to explain that they wanted it down. I never understood why they decided to act that way. Just imagine, you spend money and time to help a band and while you’re on a beach, they send you a C&D letter!

I really think that GN’R should have help Eric to keep that site alive. This place is part of the reason why GN’R still has a fan base.

I want to thank all members for all these years. It was great to share this passion for GN’R with all of you.

Thank you to all the mod team, Zint, HV, UK and everyone else who kept this place alive.

If you want to keep in touch, PM me your email before midnight.

    Aurevoir les amis!

  6. For once ?

Guns n' Fuckin Poses has been standing in the way of a way more interesting musical career since 2006 as far as I'm concerned...

yes, you are right, he's probably wasting his precious time with guns n'fuckin poses as you said (i call it fakegnr personally)

bubblebutt's solo career was so phenomenal and spectacular before joining axl's band, it was unreal... lol

seriously, i think he's just enjoying the money he makes covering slash's anthems. good for him

    And you should stop trolling.

    Check your PM

  7. As I said before, the C&D letter is complete bullshit and there's no way Eric is in an actionable position. Montrealer has basically confirmed that since. Personally, I would have chucked it and not given it a second thought, as I do with any frivolous legalities I encounter. Since I don't own the site, I can accept that Eric chose to go another way to pacify Axl and his legal team. I don't agree with it and I think it sets a bad precedent, but c'est la vie.

Where the fuck did I confirmed that?

Do you have any idea how much this forum cost to run? Some people like to think that this forum is making a lot of money, well think again!

I'm 100% with Eric on that one. This place is a hobby that cost him a lot of money and there's no way he would have taken the chance to

loose more. It's so easy for you to be on your computer and complain about other people decisions. You don't like it here? You don't need to stay.

  8. Mysteron, with all due respect your post is a big fail.

These threads were online way before Eric went on vacations. We, the mod team, will always delete documents or audio that are leaked on our boards or any request for illegal stuff. There was nothing illegal to discuss about someone claims.

It was a cheap shot to send Eric a legal request. We had received no request of any kind before Eric received it.

This forum cost a lot of money to run. This is a hobby for Eric, the mod team and all the members of this board.

That kind of action is what is killing the fan base slowly. If there's a bad apple in the basket, don't blame the whole group.

The only people to blame on this story is the GNR camp that were not able to communicate.

  9. The Bumble chats will forever be freely available on other GnR message boards. But anything and everything he said in that session is now inextricably tied to the MSL debacle. Why even risk reigniting a shitstorm of ill will with Axl by posting some kind of edited version, especially when it’s sanitized to satisfy the lawyers? It's just fuel for the fire.

The interesting thing about that incident is the depth he went into about some personal shit. He comes across as a sharp, funny and congenial guy, but some of that stuff was just so sincere it might have seemed desperate to a skeptic. It actually made the reader feel awkward in places, like we were hearing about things that were maybe none of our fucking business. There's alot of that these days.

So I guess in some, it might have left a disconcerting feeling that MSL has the genuine goods.

All the BBF posts are now back ;)
