    Some of you guys are unbelivable!

    I've deleted all the post about Slash vs DJ. If you guys want to start another Slash fight, go do it somewhere else than in this thread.

    DJ is a very good guy, he doesn't deserve some comments that are in this thread.

    I have gotten a few emails from various places asking about Axl or the band, I always reply the same way "FUCK OFF!" I would never discuss anything to do with anything about guns with anyone in the media or any kind

    I guess this philosphy of yours started sometime this year? Oh, I don't know, maybe right around the time you were bought out with the Canada party passes? A few years back, I recall you photoshopping and posting fake documents on the open forum, threatening to leak unreleased material, and claimed bogus release dates on several occassions.

    And for the record, I don't believe ANY legitimate publication EVER contacted YOU for information on Axl or his band. Keep up the act though. It's funny.

    I met him twice.

    I will always remember the first time I met him. It was just after the Montreal show.

    He was really nice and really funny. Met him for about 15 minutes and we were lucky enough to be invited at the after show party in a bar in Montreal. We spent the whole night drinking and talking and joking. Axl is the hell of a funny guy!

    He’s just like any other person. He gives everyone their moment with them. When he talk to you, he look at you in the eyes and take attention to what you’re saying. He could act like a superstar that doesn’t care but he’s cool enough to give everyone their moment with him. It was a great moment that I was able to live. Thank you to those who made it happens, you know who you are!

    The funniest moment I had with Axl was in Quebec City. We were having a beer in the loge and we wanted another beer.

    Axl was in front of the fridge, we had to ask him to move a little so we could grab one. Let just say that it was weird!

    Those were good times, huh?

    I remember when you locked that thread about Axl being at the bar in Montreal.

    Yep I did, and you know why I locked this thread? Because I knew he wasn't going there that night. I wasn't told by the GN'R camp like someone wanted people to think but because I knew the owner of the

    bar and he told me that there was nothing at his place that night.

    We didn't knew that there was a party that night. We were invite

    and told where to go 5 minutes before leaving. And when I say we, I mean everyone that was there that night.

    I don't even understand why I take another 2 minutes of my life to explain this to you. There was other members of the forum there that night, I can actually remember of 5-6 of them.

    Now, back on topic, this was discuss long enoug.

    Some of you love Ron and others not as much.

    There's no reason to fight about this! This kind of thread makes me smile

    because I know that there's always the same 2 or 3 members who keeps those threads

    alive by insulting each other.

    You know what I hate the most out of these threads? It's draining my Blackberry battery down

    because some members here feels that if someone doesn't agree with them, them feel the needs

    That gnr should play less covers and more UYI or CD songs?

    You said GNR of 2010 was covering Appetite and Use Your Illusions. Therefore your thread is illogical and you know it (hence you're a cupcake), in your eyes, GNR will always cover all of the songs they're playing until they come up with a new album written by all the current band members.

    Since you want to dwell on this, fine I will end this.

    How is what I said illogical? Did anyone in the current line up sans Axl write or play anything on AFD/Lies or the UYIs?

    so wouldnt those members be COVERING that version of the bands songs? The answer is YES. So how is that illogical? Is not.

    The thread of your title is "Enough with the should GNR cover (fill in the blank) song". So you don't want Guns N' Roses of 2010 to cover anymore songs. But in your mind, everything they play from AFD, UYI I&II, Lies, Spaghetti Incident and Chinese Democracy will be covers because not all the bandmembers of 2010 played on those records. Yet you want Guns N' Roses to play more AFD and UYI songs which are in your logic covers, but in you said in your title "enough with the gnr covers". Therefore, your thread is illogical :rofl-lol:

    Axl was credited as a songwriter of every GNR song they play live (except of course the obvious covers Knockin on heaven's door and Live & let die), in most cases he wrote the lyrics and part of the music (all the CD songs, you could be mine, november rain, sweet child o' mine, ...). He has always been the voice of Guns N' Roses, he is credited in the songs he plays lives, he owns the name, he is Guns N' Roses, so how is this band covering Guns N' Roses songs? Check your facts Dave?.

    Oh and two words man: Dizzy Reed.

    He is the keyboard player he doesnt even count. Even in the UYI days fans didnt consider him to be guns n roses. That would be like considering Teddy or Tracy and Roberta part of guns n roses.

    Axl is just the lead singer of a guns n roses cover band. You know as well as I do no one off these boards considers this group to be guns n roses.

    Did Paul Mccartney call his solo bands like Wings the beatles? They covered beatle songs all the time. If wings were to play Yesterday for example, on the AMAs and he called his backing band the beatles, would that make that group the beatles? Of course not.

    The fact is this group is just a glorified cover band. The reason people get to mad when others point that out is because you know we are right.
