There is a simple solution PirateChick.....start your own Axl worship forum where nobody is allowed to criticize or challenge your beliefs in Axl and where everything Axl says is the gospel....that way you will not be exposed to posts which offend you........

Seriously you will have a very narrow minded and distorted view of the world if you only converse with people who agree with your viewpoint of the truth............I applaud the moderators for allowing free speech on this forum, even by those I don't neccessarliy agree with, as some of the opposing viewpoints have made me look at things I may not have considered otherwise..........I might not agree with Jackie Moon and Ali regarding how Axl ended up with the GnR name but they made some interesting points which got me thinking......... broaden your horizons, think outside the box, and stop believing everything Axl says............

Listen I respect Axl as a musician I think he is very talented. I do like ChiDem, although I expected more for an album which took 15 years to complete, and I am looking forward to seeing NuGnR in concert just as I am looking forward to the Slash solo tour as a good show is a good show as far as I am concerned. I think the new band is very talented but personally I don't see them as GnR as I beleive there is more to a band then just the name...but that is again my opinion and I don't have a need to try to convert those who are believers in the NuGnR...Also don't care if there is a reunion as I was fortunate to have seen the classic lineup and UYI lineup several times and don't think they can capture that magic again......

But I am not a fan of Axl as a person and, you do not have to agree as this is my opinion, I think there is enough evidence to support that he threw his ex bandmates and business associates under the bus for his own profit. I find it hard to believe all these people are lying and Axl is the victim.....If you read my posts I generally don't bash Axl for the sake of bashing him but do defend Slash and will challenge Axlites when I think they are simply repeating Axl's dogma..............

This is GnR forum and whether you and other NuGnR fans like it or not Slash is a big part of the GnR legacy so expect his fans to defend him when the Axlites attack ................ So that is where I am coming from if you care............

Everybody has their own opinion. She has hers. I disagree 100%. I love Chinese Democracy. Still listen to it almost daily. I also have loved most of the songs off of Slash's solo album.

What I find most pathetic (and slightly funny) are the Axl bashers who are still posting here!!!!!! You hate Axl, you hate the new album, you hate "Axlites".....but you have nothing better to do with your time than to hang out on a gnr forum and bash Axl and his fans. Does that make you feel better about yourself? I've never understood why Slash lovers have this deep need to come here and bash not only Axl, but his fans. I agree with you. It's really quite unbelievable that so many of them still come here to start shit. We have an Ex gunners section, where Slash and all of the old band members can be discussed until the cows come home. This section has nothing to do with Slash and everything to do with Axl and the current line up of GN'R - so why not stay the fuck out? We don't want to hear your negative shit... and as fans, of course most of us think the article is a load of shit, it doesn't make us axlites, it makes us fans.

I can't wait for Guns to come to the UK so that I can get a chance to see them again but... at the same time I'm apprehensive, every GN'R show I've been to here is usually full of haters, a place like Reading is going to be full of the pricks, kind of ruins it. Wish we had the kind of crowds and support the band gets in South America over here.

Still, with the show the band is putting on now, i'm sure they'll change a lot of peoples minds!

When did Finck deny it? Not saying i don't believe you but i've never heard the guy speak about ANYTHING Guns related at all. Half the reason why Ashba rocks is because he is so cool with the fans, which Finck didn't do much.

These songs were born on a computer and it seems they can only live on a computer. Axl tried to make sure these songs would work live but every fucking CD track he uses a backing track. They were playing stadiums with the old band and never used a backing track because the music was organic and had soul.

So I go to the concert and its like what am I paying for here? To listen to Axl and the band play over their own fucking CD? Bullshit man.

Edit: Didn't mean to imply that anyone currently in the band actually wrote any of the songs they cover off CD, AFD, UYI, etc.
