  1. I'm in section 20, row c, Seats 5+6.

Valleygunner, your seats are close to like Center Ice, maybe over to the side of it a bit and I think Row Q is near the top of the section, but I could be wrong, I only been to the Metro Center once like 4 years ago

  2. O.K. Canadian gunners, here is an idea I have been toying with for awhile now. I'm from New Brunswick and me and a couple buddies are planning on going to the Halifax show. I have been thinking for awhile about trying to ordanize a group from this forum to meet up and have one big GN'R celebration/drunken blast of some kind for the halifax show. Without a doubt it would be a good gus n' drunken' time and if we get a big enough group of us I think we would be more likely to get the opportunity to meet the band, get pics, vids, stories and of course the time of our lives. Think of how cool it would be to get acknowledged by Axl himself during the show... or somehting like that...

Depending on how many people we could pull together we could possibly hold a big party before/after the show fo everyone that makes it and of course thier friends. I guess the possibilities are endless, we could end up renting a banquet hall in some hotel or something...

anyways, first thing is first, we need to know how many of us are even going to be at the show and how many people are interesting in rigging something crazy like this up.

I guess what i'm looking for is your thoughts, comments and ideas and see where it goes from there.

I'm from New Brunswick and I'm heading up to the show, but I'll only be getting there right after the door opens, probably around 7:30ish and I'm pretty sure we're driving back home right after the show. But to met Axl would be a dream come true

  3. I'm gonna try to get either section 22 or 8. This way I'll be able to see everything. Section 23 or 7 might be just as good, but there might be a chance that you might have a speaker in your way, but I could be wrong, not sure how they set up at the Metro Center for a concert

  4. I can't wait for it to go on sale. Hopefully I get the section I was, I don't want the floor, don't want to take the chance that there's some big guy standing infront of me as this will be my first GnR show.

I can't believe tickets are 75.50. I'm glad I been saving up for this moment :)

  5. This concert is now Confirmed. I emailed somebody from the Metro Center and this is what his reply was.

  6. This isn't official. Just posting news that some guy posted on a radio message board. But this could be true cause this venue doesn't have anything scheduled on their website for this date, plus the Goo Goo dolls are performing on the 21st. So here's the Rumor.

Guns N' Roses - whose four May 2006 shows at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom sold out in less than 3 minutes - have reclaimed the throne that was always theirs. From stellar reviews to audience adulation, Guns N' Roses' recent shows have proved that they are back in a big way.

Guns N' Roses completed their European Tour in July 2006 with their second consecutive sold out show at London's Wembley Arena. The tour, which started May 25th in Madrid, Spain, played to 700,000 plus people over 32 shows in 18 countries, making it one of the biggest tours of the year on the continent and in the UK.

Concert goers weren't let down as Axl Rose and band mates Tommy Stinson (bass), Richard Fortus (guitar), Robin Finck (guitar), Chris Pitman (keyboard), Dizzy Reed (keyboard), Brain (drums) and new guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal burned through Guns N' Roses classics such as "Welcome to the Jungle," "Paradise City," "My Michelle," "Mr. Brownstone," "November Rain" and "Sweet Child O' Mine." The final show at Hammerstein found the band joined by one time Guns' guitarist Izzy Stradlin on "Think About You," "Patience" and "Night Train," which also included an enthusiastic Kid Rock coming onstage to join the band!

Axl Rose commented, "We have had an amazing tour and it has been fantastic for the band and I to experience this. I want to thank everyone in Europe and the UK for inspiring us and for giving us the opportunity to play for them. We are now looking forward to the US in September."

  7. I like Paris Hilton better when she wears nothing

Yah, he's been on twice and presented 2 awards and said he was going to perform later and also mention that the CD will come out next week.

that's why none of us are freaking out about it
