THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION, but I've always felt that Madagascar fits the best as the missing piece of the Illusions saga since the references to the shore resonate so well with Estranged and the approach seems to be similar to the Illusions epics.

However, I will add that being "alone" in There Was A Time seems to have the same kind of meaning as with Estranged, so who knows.

It just seems like There Was A Time is directed more towards a newer sound, while Madagascar fits with the style that was consistent throughout the three Illusions songs - so if the missing piece of the Illusions saga is even on CD at all, it would make a lot more sense for it to be the one that fits in stylistically.

I always felt that "The Blues" would be the 4th part of it. But for all we know, there could be a 5th and 6th part as well. Wouldn't that be wild.

I know its all a rumor. I felt like calling the guy up and telling him to STFU and tell him whats what.

I was listening to the classic rock station today at work and they played SCOM and after that the DJ said that Axl had said that the album will be coming out in the spring and the DJ also mentions that Slash has heard the Album.

None of this makes any sence. I'm guessing the DJ is just reporting Rumors of some sort. Plus out Local paper printed that axl said we'll here music this year and also made it sound like GnR we're reuniting.

I am listening to Storm Hymnal by Grant Lee Buffalo - I love that stuff.

Grant Lee Phillips is so talented- I always thought he and Axl could do an EP of acoustic stuff and the sounds GLP uses with the guitars like mellotrons, organs, that mellow earthy stuff. Holy smokes that would be powerful and awesome. Anyway, just dreaming. I like a lot of singers, but it wouldn't work as good as with GLP in my opinion.

Damn, to be Axl and just be able to call up someone like GLP, "hey man, let's get together this afternoon and make a couple cool songs." The pressure involved, maybe put on by himself, may prevent WAR from doing low key, casual stuff like that just for fun.

Their coming to my town on Saturday (Moncton New Brunswick) they sold 85 thousand tickets. Man this weekend is going to be crazy. its like 150$ a ticket and last call for beer is at 8 and the stone only come on at like 8:30.
