WC, you are definitely looking back nostalgically to those regims in which personality cult was unquestionable. Luckily, there's always been people to stand up for truth and justice, fighting against the tyrants that called themselves liberators, against dictatorships that called themselves democracies and against changing things that kept their old name to fool people...

You and your friends are not even GN'R fans... You are not able to understand what's GN'R, you're only able to understand a small part of it called "Axl"...

I've been a GN'R fan for longer than most of the people that are calling me a cupcake... I took a plane from Geneva to see the band in Paris some weeks ago... I must be a bit bored to do things like that... Taking a plane and travelling to see a band I'm not interested in...

Yeah.. I LOVE this current band as well.. I'd pay a months pay to go see them..

What I think many people need to realize is that this IS indeed a totally different band from the band -+1990. They shouldn't complain about who's in and who's out, but concentrate on the tremendous band that Axl has put together. They are amazing and I love them 90% as much as I would have if Duff and never-used-a-condom-Slash was there.

They are two totally different bands, yes. If Axl had decided to call his new band differently, nobody would be saying that it is "Guns N'Roses"...

Axl decided to keep the name : it doesn't mean this new band is Guns N'Roses.

If it is a new band, it can't be Guns N'Roses. GNR is an old band as some of you may know...

The last Guns N'Roses show took place in 1993.

Hopefully, they will soon come back!

Axl keeps the name mainly because of his huge ego. He wants the world to know who was the main ingredient of GNR...

Financially, it is also very profitable as he wouldn't be selling out arenas under another name... CD will also sell better than a solo record just because of the GNR logo.

i feel really bad for the european crowds, nothing new being played aside frm stuff all of us who follow guns have heard..

When they come to the states, i expect a few new songs on the set list that have NEVER been heard, or i will be dissapointed too.

People prefer the old songs.

Looking forward to the release of CD : it will be the end of Axl-lites unfounded speculations about this new band abilities. And it will provide confirmation that Axl was wrong in keeping the name of something that obviously doesn't exist anymore.

..my decent opinion:...uncle axl is plannin' a musicial revolution...there are more than 90 songs..some with whole orchestras...about 10-18 minutes long...

....some kick ass earwigs...influence of all kind of music styles..and so on..and so on...
