Well GNR in many ways is Southern Rock Skynyrd Influenced. So it would have been fine. 

Damnit! The Dog song trilogy needs to stay intact! If any dog song should go it is call off the dogs. I will be at the Atlanta show and I need the extended “The One you loved is gone” for sure. Maybe too emotional for Myles to sing. 

I ordered one of the 500 deluxe versions with the mini Gibson guitar. Still nothing. Anyone else still waiting?

How are album sales going? They have promoted it well!

Sounds a bit better than the regular mix, but the soundstage is a little awkward for some songs with less stereo separation for the rhythm guitars. Also, the solos are sometimes a bit too loud. Of course there's a lot of fellow guitarists who dig this approach, but I'm not sure this would be the best option for regular listeners. 

How do we go about get the Atmos Mix to play vs regular stereo? 

Slash does not play on Black or White.

I am praying there are some monsters on the album we haven’t heard. Call of the Dogs sucks but Fill My Wold is damn good. 

Myles sounds so good here. And no shred noodle stuff from Slash. Tasty tune!

I am seeing a lot of love for the song everywhere except by the hard core folks here. 

This is a great crossover song!

Wow, great post looking back on it! Yes, they used that recording for the cassette and also we see Slash’s heads on the side in the rack. That is really cool. 

I got tickets for Atlanta. Last time I saw Slash I was front row and it was killer. But this time I am paying more for killer seats. Also I have saw on his side before like for GA but this time I am sitting on the other side because it is a raised balcony and if often faces Frank’s side so looking forward to it!
