99X in Atlanta played both clips this morning and talked about GNR for a significant amount of time. No way they get sued over this. Axl would be shooting himself in the foot if he sued the station and then expected airplay when the album comes out...

It has been almost fifteen years we've been, or some of us have been waiting for an origional album headed by Mr. Axl Rose. That's been a damn long time.

It has been six years since we heard a studio recording of a new song. And that is probably number three of the studio demos while irs holds two and better holds one, at least in my mind.

I'm not going to be a whiner and post a million threads stating how pissed off and upset I am because some one else that is a fan has been able to rock out to these songs and I haven't. But I will say, if I could, I sure as fuck would rock out to these songs. Didn't Axl say in Rio that he.. "I have no intention of denying you guys something you would love to hear." If only that applied here.

I just wish I could have at least heard a little more of the chorus for Better. You notice as the part gets "heavy" Axl sounds a kind of "Brutal" I have never heard Axl sound, and I think its fucking awsome. That's what I really want to hear.

Fuck IRS was leaked a long time ago. Isn't it better we have this version than that shit version, at least this shows how talented this band really is and how they are combining different elements of music and making it work?

I for one was happy with Axl's voice when better kicked in full gear. I love the feel, even if its simple. I guess it's kinda cool that he wanted to experiment with new sounds, and as far as new sounds go... as for these demo's I think he's doing quite a good fucking job.

New Vs. Old?

They are completely different unless you count Axl's awsome ballad style writting. Yeah I loved the old f'n band, I still do. But I'd say better and IRS are definately better than some Illusion's tracks, not all, but some.

I personally prefer a lot of this heavy material over it's five o'clock some where.

Izzy was gone, Slash wasn't gonna work with Axl.

I'm not crazy in love with what Fink did on IRS, but I am all about what he did in the blues.

I don't understand the people who say "Don't release anymore!"...but yet and still, have listened to all the previously released demos. And even admit they would probably listen to anymore that are released.

That makes zero sense to me. And frankly, the moral superiority is nauseating, because you're no better than the rest of us who've listened to the songs.

It's as hypocritical as saying "I hate drugs!"...and then someone brings them to a party, and you do them. I mean, like, spare me, man.

I think Axl would be against the demos being out, because he's a prefectionist. But unless a CD quality copy of the entire album is leaked, it's unlikely to affect album sales.

Like others have said, it may actually do the opposite, and generate interest in the album and band. For example, the "Don't Cry" demo was commonly available in the late 80's and early 90's, but it didn't affect sales of the "Illusion" albums (at least, it didn't seem to).

I just don't like people calling people fucking assholes for wanting to hear songs from their favorite band and acting like they're so above every one else. State your opinion but don't slander those who have a different opinion.

If its leaked, I will probably love it.

Axl has said he has up to potentially 70 songs he's working on. These are only three.

Personally I love comparing demo versions to studio versions. But for your sake if TWAT is leaked, don't download it, but don't call me a fucking asshole if I do. I've been following this guys carreer since 1989 when I first heard wttj, and when I heard it I was like OH FUCK. These songs have had the same effect.
