Roth will be the singer, unfortunately...
You're joking right?
Van Halen suck without Diamond Dave.
It will suck without Michael Anthony too. I'd still go watch it though.

People give them too little credit. They're not the cheese masters that Poison were, the band was actually talented, and they wrote some truly 'great' songs.
See, they may not be a great band by any means, but it's so much fucking fun. Irresistible hooks, fantastic riffs and solos, and beautifully overblown and ridiculous melodies and lyrics. You can't detract from Sambora or Bon Jovi's skills as songwriters. They wrote some of the catchiest music ever, period.
They did have a lot of help with the songwriting. But I agree they're a good band, I think most of their ballads are pretty good, though I can't stand I'll Be There For You.
Livin' On a Prayer is one of my favourite songs.

Axl was the first LA Guns singer.
No. Axl sung on Rose and Hollywood Rose. Then LA Guns and Hollywood Rose joined to become Guns N' Roses, only after a couple of months GN'R was reduced to the former members of HR, since all the LA Guns members departed for one reason or another.
Okay I did not say that, you were quoting Double Talkin' Jive. There were rumors that Rob and Axl were in L.A. Guns, but they have been denied by Tracii, Paul Black, and several fans who were around at the time the band first started playing shows. Wikipedia's information of the first L.A. Guns lineup being Tracii, Rob, Ole, and Axl is incorrect, Tracii confirmed this via email.
By most accounts, including official ones, L.A. Guns was originally: Tracii Guns (lead guitar), Nickey "Beat" Alexander (drums), Paul Black (vocals), Mike Cripps (bass), and Robert Stoddard (rythm guitar).
What about the EP they released in 1985?
There is not a single recording from L.A. Guns with Axl on vocals.
No but it does have Rob Gardner. And Michael Jagosz is on vocals, so if Axl was never in LA Guns, this guy is the original singer and not Paul Black who was still with The Joneses.

Bah, he should be back in Kiss.
He never has left Kiss.
I meant doing stuff with them, like an album.
I think the chances are pretty small we'll see a new KISS album.
Only know the title track from the new album but I loved it.

Also, twised sister had some drastic member changes in its lifetime...
Twisted Sister always had pretty much the same line-up for every album.
After Tracii Guns departed from L.A. Guns, the band was left without any original members.
Currently, there are two L.A. Guns groups touring, but which one is real? If the one with Tracii in is real, technically it has one original member. But if that's not real, then L.A Guns has no original members.
If the one with Tracii in it is real then it has 3 original members: Paul Black, Nickey Alexander, and Tracii.
First drummer was Rob Gardner and Axl was the first LA Guns singer.

Decent list I guess, coming from Rolling Stone. But Clapton shouldn't be on this list.

Pointless thread.

Still don't know if I'm gonna buy this. If the entire album sounds like what i've heard so far I probably won't.

Totally agree, one of the best drummers. His live solos were always pretty good.

It's awful, just like 60% of Pump.
Pump is the best thing they have done since they reunited in 84.

I don't give a fuck about sales, I just want the thing to be released.

Cheap Trick - Dream Police

Aerosmith is not sleaze.

I only know the song Soul Survive, which is pretty good. West Arkeen co-wrote Crash Diet (haven't heard it, is it the same song?) and Wasted Time.

It's gonna suck.
From David Fincher to Larry Charles? I mean what the fuck?
"Masked and Anonymous" was a travesty.
I agree this will probably be shit.

Love fuckin Ozzy, a truley great songwriter. You Cant Kill Rock N' Roll, Crazy Train, I Just Want You, Mama Im Comming Home, Shot In The Dark, See You On the Other Side, all great songs.
I don't think Ozzy has written any of those except Mama I'm Coming Home.. I might be totally wrong but I've allways thought he isn't much of a songwriter.. Great lyrics in his songs though!
Yup, Bob Daisley wrote most of the lyrics and music on the first 6 albums.
