I think so, hell listen to "I Remember You" and "Rebel Yell", that's enough proof.
Agreed, Snake is a great and underrated guitar player. Haven't heard much Steve Stevens but Rebel Yell and the Top Gun theme are awesome.

Well the re-recording of Appetite was for rehearsal purposes for the new band, and as much as i'd love to hear it i doubt we ever will (except for the snippet at the end of the Big Daddy version of SCOM).
And Im pretty sure the material with the origional members post-Spaghetti incident will ever be released as there was hardy an albums worth of material.
SP
Actually they almost released a new album in 1996.

He played for Brides of Destruction for a while before they disbanded.
Now he's formed a solo project with all the original "L.A. Guns" members except Phil Lewis.
Phil Lewis continues to make music under the L.A. Guns name with a new band, some fans argue that Tracii's solo project is the real L.A. Guns because it has more of the original members.
Phil Lewis isn't the original singer. Paul Black is and he's in Tracii's band.

I wish I was born in the 60s. The 80s just seemed like one big party.

Saw them in 1987 opening for Motley Crue. Great show.
Besides Coverdale, who else is in the band now?
There's Doug Aldrich on lead guitar, he's supposed to be very good but I haven't heard much of his stuff. Played with Dio for a while. Then there's Reb Beach (Winger) on rhythm guitar, don't understand why you'd have somebody like him on rhythm guitar. There's Tommy Aldridge on drums he's pretty good. Uriah Duffy is on bass and Timothy Drury is playing keyboards but I'm not familiar with either of them.

Whitesnake is awesome, I'd love to see them someday.

What a stupid fucking list. Bumblefoot No 1. Kirk Hamett no 68. Slash 42. Who ever feeds into this is ignorant as hell. No jimmy page no nothing.
There are sooooooooooooooo many guitarists out there a million times better than Page.
and yet they've never made music the caliber of Led Zeppelin.
That wouldn't be too hard to do. Led Zeppelin = most overrated band of all time. Goddamn if I can't stand them.
oh you have no idea how many people have tried
AND FAILED.
Agreed. The reason Jimmy Page isn't on there is because he isn't considered a metal guitarist.

It sounds good but then when you realize they're covering an XTina song it makes your stomach wrench. It just bothers me that they're covering a song like that. It's just not cool in my books and frankly it is embarrassing. Captain A needs to tell them to pick another song and he needs to tell Bumble to lose the foot guitar.
Slash was a lazy player and he never really looked like he was enjoying the music he was making. He looks like he chose the guitar to look cool and score chicks and make $$$
Dumbest post ever.

It's Def Leppard.
Can't say I like the idea of a cover album. Their last album was weak they should've working on a new album with strong original songs instead.

I wou gaan maar ik heb dan nog examens. Volgend jaar misschien.

Paul Gilbert has A LOT higher than 20.5
That's what I was thinking too.

THIS CANNOT BE A TRIBUTE ALBUM WITHOUT TRACII GUNS
DLR should be recording a new album instead of working with tribute bands. It's not like there's ever gonna be a Van Halen reunion. Eddie is looking worse than Keith Richards nowadays.

Wtf?! I bought it last week, it's very good. Sunshine Of Your Love is a classic, and there is no denying. Strange Brew, Dance The Night Away and SWLABR are classics too. Take It Back and Tree Of Pain aren't too bad. I like We're Going Wrong a lot too...
But that's not the case, it's a good album!
I think it's World of Pain...
But I think it's a great album. Maybe a little overrated sometimes, but there are excellent songs on this album with great instrumental performances. Definitely one of the most talented bands. I totally hate Blue Condition and Mother's Lament though, can't hold that against you.
-
Who's this Paus guy? I know he has the record but I can't find much about him.
-
There are talks for a Skid Row reunion according to blabbermouth.com
We'll see...
A reunion isn't possible currently even if all members would want to. Snake Sabo is injured and can't play guitar atm.
I'm guessing this will be the supergroup or maybe Bach solo, he has a new album coming out in September.

Led Zeppelin II, besides being a crime in itself, is the worst of the four albums. Hard to believe it's winning so easily.
How can you say that? This is the best Zep album IMO, Page is a fucking riff machine and there are many great solos on this album. And Bonham and JPJ have some of their finest performances recorded on this album too. I think Exile On Main Street is somewhat overrated, same for Disraeli Gears. I love most on that album but Mother's Lament and Blue Condition are terrible.

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II
The Who - Who's Next
The Beatles - Revolver
Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Van Halen - Van Halen I

I voted Fortus. Can someone post some Finck pics?
-
Hahah, Doug Aldrich would fit the band so well.
Isn't he currently in Whitesnake or Dio?
Yea he's still in Whitesnake atm and is recording with them I think.
-
I've heard a couple of tunes a while ago, seemed like a great guitarist. Can anyone recommend some songs?
-
Who cares of that 3rd guitarist?
There are already 4tus and Finck. Especially 4tus. I can't care less of who the 3rd guitar player is.
A band as big as GNR needs a brilliant guitarist. And though Finck and Fortus are good guitarists they are far from brilliant.

Definitely Mick taylor. But Keith Richards is a better lead player than Brian Jones and Ron Wood imo.
