I was at this show which was my 7th time seeing the band and aside from Vegas 2016 which was unbelievable for obvious reasons this was the best I have seen them.
ÂThey really are consummate professionals right now and after the Dublin debacle in 2010 that’s something I thought I would never be able to say. Arriving on stage bang on time and finishing in time for the curfew, still feels slightly alien when it comes to GNR but I think this is an Axl v2.0 we are dealing with these days.
The show didn’t lag for me, I don’t get the complaints about them playing for too long, who wants to see less of their favourite band?  I would have loved a rarity thrown in but really the set list is brilliant. Of course some fat could be trimmed off the likes of RQ and KOHD but it’s a good time for a piss break.
Axl was the star of the show beaming and moving about like a man his age shouldn’t be doing, barely leaving the stage for the entire show. The guy looks fit and healthy, his voice is of course what it is these days. But he still hits the notes and when you are a few metres from the rail you won’t give a shit if there’s the odd sub-par moment. I feel like he is enjoying himself and he isn’t leaving anything on the table in terms of his performance which really comes across.
The rest of the band were of course amazing as always. I had seen some videos of Slash’s recent sloppy playing but I thought he played out of his skin in Dublin.Â
A couple of minor niggles were that the sound was a few decibels too low imo. Not sure if that’s venue related and I think some more introductions to songs or interaction with the crowd from Axl would be cool but maybe he feels like he did enough of that back in 1992.
Either way, go see them on this tour if you have the chance.. you won’t regret it.

I was at the show, To be honest it was the worst vocal performance I have ever seen and I include drunken Japanese Karaoke in that.
I feel disappointed it wasn’t better and that Axl doesn’t work his ass off to prepare his voice and basic approach to singing the songs, but what’s the point in complaining it’s not going to change anything, he is who he is and when you are standing a few metres from the stage seeing Axl and Slash play Welcome to the Jungle together, something that was just a far fetched dream for 20 years you just have to enjoy the moment and not obsess about it not being as good as it could be.

I always liked bumblefoot but please don't put him in the same ball park as Slash... yes he is incredibly skilled, precise and technical but Slash's playing has so much more emotion and feel, this is not something which can be learnt see him live and his playing grabs you by the pit of your stomach, the missed notes and mistakes add to it somehow... if you want someone who will hit every note with machine like precision bumblefoot is your man but there is a very valid reason why Slash will go down in history as a legend and bumblefoot won't.

Was at both shows..
Tonights was much better.. Axl's vocals weren't perfect but were much improved from Friday's show
The highlight was coma with raspy vocals it was almost perfect but his voice broke right at the end
Slash seemed way more confident on stage tonight too
Only thing I'd love to see is some more interaction between Slash and Axl but I guess that will come once he gets off his throne!
Flying back to Ireland tomorrow having witnessed the 2 best shows of my life!

Your price is too high on StubHub, there are several pairs of tickets in the same section selling for much less than yours, including one pair for $300/ticket, $200/ticket less.
I have them advertised to get back what I paid once their fee is taken I would take less from a fan on this board

Guys I'm willing to take a good offer for my 2 tickets for Fri 8th Section 10 row 8 - have them on stub hub but am Ireland for the US on Thursday and would ideally like them gone before then
Really excellent seats!
Would potentially take some cheap seats for Saturday as a trade against them...

I've just emailed them - lets see what they say

Hmm I added MLife to my reservation and now it says I have paid nothing but the funds have already left my A/C

Its not a regional thing ... likely the site has moved to a new server and there will be a transition period where some will see the old site and some will see the new ... depends on your ISP

They were $950 for the 2 including all StubHub fees ($475 each)Â and I just want that backÂ
Payment by PayPal & will provide proof of purchase etc.

I’ve a degree in computer science so I have some knowledge of how search algorithms work. To pour some slightly tepid water over this I suspect that Spotify crawls the web for data from trusted providers. Let’s say it’s bot crawls a Rolling stone article about GNR’s rumoured new material and indexes song titles listed this could easily lead to a scenario where if someone searches for one of these song titles GNR gets returned as a relevant result. In the same way if you search for a movie that’s not available on Netflix it will most likely show available movies with the same lead actor or director etc.
The only thing that gives me some hope is that for instance when you search for “Face it Alone” (Queen’s upcoming single) they don’t come back as a result and it is the same for other title’s associated with other artists.
