  2. has anyone heard the Live version of this song on ummagumma? fucking mindblowing. I truely believe this song has directly influenced every death metal goth band ever.

  3. I'd say definitely the UK.

Zeppelin, Floyd, Maiden, Beatles, Purple, Sabbath, Stones...

that's 6 iconic legendary bands right there.

US has GNR, Aerosmith, Metallica. But that's a moot point because these bands were all influenced by the Brittish legends.

... who were influenced by people from the USA, so it evens out.

obscure bluesmen dont count ;) the beatles is where it started.

  4. i was just watching a documentary called, blood on the turntables about The Stone Roses,

did you know after their first album they wanted to sign with geffen and geffen wanted them because they knew they had the potential to be the best band on the planet, geffen gave the stone roses £300,000 but their manager fucked them over and stole all the money. Very sad story regarding the roses.

And that makes rock n' roll belong to britain in the 90's how? :drevil:

It doesnt. what do you think this is some childish war?:rolleyes:

  6. ouch, i cant stand this album its so tedius and sounds the same all way through, the lyrics and singing are so cliche. They are trying to sound too much like The Black Crows but failing miserably!

    1/10.

HAHAHA...are you shitting me? why can't you just accept that this is a great album and band? "Failing miserably to sound like the black crowes"? what? these guys kick the shit out of the black crowes. the black crowes haven't made a decent album since "shake your moneymaker" (in the early 90's). This is the first album in years that acutally impresses me. finally someone who knows how to play the guitar!! And a singer that doesn't just scream and make strange noises...i don't see how you could not dig this shit

oh excuse me, i forgot you were the rock n roll consultant of the world.

In my opinion this album is boring, the vocals are terrible, and theres loads of better bands at the moment. You keep mentioning the guitar skills? uhm what skills? the guy is just wanking the guitar. As a guitar player myself, i see nothing special in the playing.
