  1. PETE DOHERTY has hit out at THE LIBERTINES in a new song.

The estranged guitarist has recorded a new track with side-project Babyshambles in which he lambastes Carl Barat and those close to the band for being kicked out over his drug addictions.

A studio recording of ’Gang Of Gin’ has appeared online and features the lyrics: "I’ll tell you my story/The treachery, it bores me/Carl and McGee both promised me/It would not happen this way/Carl is kept sedated/The frontman elevated."

Pete then goes on to lash out at the music industry, singing: "In this industry of fools/Musclemen and ghouls/If you’re not a puppet or a muppet/Then you might as well call it a day."

  2. Listening to "the complete stone roses" now, my god its so inspiring, and its so wonderful to know that without this band, there would be no good british bands in the 90s! STONE ROSES I am forever greatful!

Id rather be no one with someone, than someone with no one ;)

  3. Come on, buy the stone roses and you will be enlightened to thier awesome greatness.

and I need to buy the new stone roses dvd as well has gnruk got it?

yeh ive got the roses dvd man! the concert is amazing and its a real treat because Ian browns voice wasnt always good live.

Also about their style, you cant really describe it, because its completely unique. That why the roses are so great.

  5. But he is a pretty talented song and lyrics writer, given the fact that he wrote half of the songs on the great KISS albums in the seventies

Ok ok , I'll retract in a way , I think he sucks NOW , back then he was pretty cool but now he blows , The fame got to him I suppouse . But will ya'll get off my back , damn give you're opionon and you're roasted . The 70's stuff he wrote was solid I'll admit but c'mon his recent stuff  .

You are right.... I can give you that..... I do not object if you mean Gene today. But he was a god in the 70'.

    "I'm almost human"

No he was not "god" in the 70's, that is because Roger Waters was "god" in the 70's. Gene Simmons is such a mockery.

    Who?

    :lol::lol::lol:

haha you dont know who roger waters is! stupid cunt. There are no words to describe how shit your musical knowledge is, and your taste is really really bad

    ROGER WATERS > GENE SIMMONS

  14. YEH I LOVE THE MUSIC SCENE AT THE MOMENT ITS FUCKING GREAT! B)

much agreed, some of you americans need to get ur asses to england and start listening to some decent music!! The Libertines, the Streets and hundred reasons for examples.

If nothing was ever released again I would be more then satisfied with my music collection... When I was a teen I was always looking for new bands (back then the music was just better) I don't have the same desire to find new music if that makes sence ,revolver was a nice suprise for me..

I have seen the video with bowling for soup and it's fucking lame, 1985... I don't even listen to the radio anymore...CLassic rock is my thing..

bowling for soup?? my god i really feel for americans. Like rufus said you need come to england, watch vh2, the amp, mtv2 and listen to great new music, like the libertines, the stands, KASABIAN, razorlight!!! There are so many great new bands out right now, i just love it so much.

each to there own mike!! but i think that some pople maybe not you need to open up there eyes and search for new talent,go out and buy an album on impulse and just give new genres and styles a go!!!

How the hell did i forget Razorlight, they were one of the best bands at leeds!!

Remember as a kid (well i don't know your age) there was so much fun in finding new bands and hearing music for the first time.. You were in school, hanging with friends ,drinking enjoying new music, etc.. It was a great time and you shared great times with friends... You always had tons of friends with new albums to sample..

When you(me) get older it's just not the same anymore.. To me the big part of music was going to a concert getting drunk, laid n partying... It's just not the same for me, I don't get excited like I use to..I use to hang in the school yard with mates and have the stereo blasting metal, it just went hand n hand..

Sure I enjoy a tune every now and then that's new, but my desire to look and find it is gone.

Sound like an old timer, but for some reason I love classic rock, and I can listen to it forever..he music of your youth is always treasured the most, it's hard to duplicate the feelings again...

for me that time was in 1994-1995:D I was discovering music and yeah it was great, but i can still find all those elements that I love in new music today:D and when you say its hard to duplicate those feelings again? well you can say that about many things in life, not just music:) good music is timeless music:)
