I prefer G n R's version by miles, Dylan's version lacks the energy guns n roses gave it.

I find them boring, plus their lead singer is just copying bob geldoff and the boomtown rats were bad enough.

HE did try to do that in 2001/2002. but using he same old setlist over and over at each concert. IF Axl wants to do the same thing now. He NEEDS to diversify the setlist with new material and UYI as well; (im talking about Dont Cry, Dont Damn me, The garden, garden of eden, yesterdays, locomotive...) :krider:

Don't Cry was retired to do with shannon hoon, i don't think it'll be played again, plus i don't think his voice could handle yesterdays anymore...

Don`t Cry didn`t make it to the setlist because of Shannon Hoon..I honestly belive so.

Shannon were in the studio recording that song and in the video,so after losing a close friend i can understand why Axl doesn`t do that song anymore..

If Axl starts doing Don`t Cry live again i think he will dedicate it to Shannon.

I disagree strongly. His album is excellent and he is a very talented singer.

On topic, saying Axl was dancing with James Blunt sounds intensley gay. You don't need to dance with someone to party with someone

I used to quite like oasis, i see them at shepards bush in 2001 and finsbury park in 2002 with my friend who's a massive oasis fan and really enjoyed both shows, but don't believe the truth was awful imo with only one decent song in turn up the sun, although it's against the belief of a lot of oasis fans i thought their most original music came from the sotsog and heathen chemistry lp's, with songs like gas panic, go let it out, hindu times, hung in a bad place & stop crying your heart out, but ever since don't believe the truth came out oasis have gone completely out of my head, but as this topic's about definitely maybe i believe it's a good album with some top songs like shakermaker, supersonic and rock n roll star, so all in all i think oasis are on a downward spiral, i hope they recover, but i doubt it...

I went to the docklands show in 2002, it'd be great if they played london again as i'm not going to download, i doubt they'd suit the bill of hyde park calling, plus i feel earls court might be too big considering the results of the 02 tour, so maybe the hammersmith apollo might be the best bet as i've been to three gigs there and they've all been good with great sound.

Their latest studio release blinking lights & other revelations is my favourite at the moment, but beautiful freak is very good also and contains my favourite eels song in your lucky day in hell, but all their albums are good, including electro shock blues but i wouldn't recommend this as your first buy of eels stuff as it's not as easily accessible as it's all about death etc...

...So for me, get beautiful freak.

Average at best, his music & the stones roses' is very overrated.

I went to a show in may last year where they played without drums, it was the strings tour, i went to the festival hall show in london and it was a great show, my 2nd best show of last year...

My first concert was blur at wembley arena in december 1999, it was a night where they just played all their singles and nothing else, it was to date one of the best gigs i've been to, i don't get to many gigs as most of the bands i like aren't together any more, but the last show i went to was the kings of leon at the hammersmith apollo which was the best gig i've ever been to by far...

Yep, it is just "eels" like i put at the start of my post, mark has said that on many occasions, but i thought i better put the eels otherwise people might've thought i was talking about fish

Eels are one of my fave bands, i have all their albums and they're so easy to listen to with some blinding songs mixed in, E has a really cool unique voice, plus i've seen them live twice and their great...

...So are any of you lot fans of them?.
