There were actually a few good performances during that show, Estranged being played of course and Axl really pulled out (with rasp...) This I Love that night. One of my favorite renditions of the song actually.

I wouldn't get too excited it's probably a five minute bit of which 4:45 is dedicated to DJ trying to sell AshbaSWAG monogrammed incontinence pants.
I think the "problem" is that we think that Dj and the rest of the guys in the band are not relevant. they have no say about new music, recording new music,releasing new music etc... and i think that is way people are cracking jokes....only one who matters is Axl...do not get me wrong i like new guys they do a great job in a concert but..
The problem is that there is no problem, but you guys have such vapid lives you need to create one. Go outside and pick up a ball or something. Holy shit what a fucking drag you guys are trying to find issue with a touring rock n roll band.

I don't know why people can't talk objectively about GnR - and I'm talking from both sides of the extreme fan/hate side.
The weekend concert was another black eye on the new band's resume. Spin it however you want, drink Fernando and Axl's kool-aid. Axl screwed the pooch.
Doing the Kimmell show is cool - but it is a fluff piece. Not like he is doing a real interview.
The Vegas shows will be cool and a positive step IF new music is played. Otherwise, these shows hold no other special meaning than any other stops of a tour. They won't be special shows or life altering shows or some sign that Axl is The Man. There is nothing special about them other than being 12 shows in one city. People from both sides need to chill out about this. A Vegas residency doesn't mean they are a retirement lounge act now - nor does is mean Axl is doing something earth shattering that he should be worshipped for. It's just 12 more shows on a tour.
The only way these shows are any different is if GnR debuts some new music.
This is a good time to be a fan - I wouldn't call it the best time ever. Relatively speaking - for the new GnR - and not comparing it to other bands.....this is a good stretch.

Well if you are like me and you go to C GNR once every 4 years on average you cant complain about set list to much. If i was like some of u that went and C them 30+ times then yes, I would bitch about set list, but then again i woundt go 30 times but thats nopt what we are talking about
would i like to C 0 cover songs and all GNR yes, but I think it is a kick ass show how it is, but now with 12 concerts in Vegas I hope they change something from concert to concert.

I think most is an overstatement. In fact, most people probably supported Axl NOT going to the RnR hall of fame and promoting the band in that phoney way.
i wasnt talking about RnR hall of fame...i was talking about avoding press and doing 0 promo when CD came out...

quick question for all you Slash "loveres"....you really do not realize how many great songs he wrote in the past 10 years?? how can you say he didn't do nothing good since 93? how can you say that the new band has better guitar players when they as a band recorded 0 songs together?
