If your original singer was Axl rose, and your band name is considered half of GnR's, I dont want to see a guy with a tophat in 1989, the peak of GnR's success, or a guitarist that looks like Izzy, in you hit video.

Axl wasn't LA Guns original lead singer. The original LA Guns was:Michael something-his last name escapes me at the moment,Ole Beich,Rob Garner and Traci Guns. Michael went to jail and was briefly replaced by Axl. Then Axl left and Michael came back for a little while. When Axl left, he formed Hollywood Rose. When Hollywood Rose and LA Guns both went belly up, they combined to form the first incarnation of GnR : Axl,Izzy,Traci,Ole,Rob. Traci left after only a few shows and formed a new LA Guns.
