SunnyDRE
So I know these 2 bands are alway reference as cheezy-radio rock bands; but I like them alot.Anyone else fans?If not check out these:Our Lady Peace-Spiritual MachinesThird Eye Blind-TEB Edited January 23, 2008 by SunnyDRE
Zion
Love 3EB. Top three favorite all time along with Gn'R and Type O Negative.Seen them live 6 times so far. Can't wait to see them live again and the next album that's long overdue.Self titled debut album had some gems that got no radio play. The Background,Motorcycle Drive By,& God Of Wine.I love the irony in the top 40 hit Semi Charmed Life. Upbeat, poppy kind of song with very dark lyrical content that most people didn't notice.Blue was a great sophomore effort. Wounded,Deep Inside Of You,Farther, and the darker version of Slow Motion were my favorites on that album.Favorites from Out Of The Vein were Blinded,Forget Myself,& Can't Get Away. I think Jenkins is one of the best songwriters of our generation. I still have a drum stick Brad threw to me at a gig they played at the 9:30 club in D.C. back in '97 I think.I first heard of Our Lady Peace when they opened for 3EB. Also got into a band called Tonic that used to open for 3EB.I have the Our Lady Peace greatest hits album Decades. I listen to that a lot but I need to get into more of their other stuff. appetite4illusions
Third Eye Blind was head above shoulders better then all the generic altern bands of the late 90's.
