Dan H. Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 Pink Floyd are great, i have a few of their albums Dark Side up to the Wall but i'm missing Animals. I heard Sheep on the radio the other day and before i knew who it was i thought it was Floyd because of the machine sounds, is Animals a good album?I think i listen to the Wish You Were album the most, Shine on You Crazy Diamond is one long trip. I should really buy that P*U*L*S*E cd/dvd, i've heard Comfortably Numb from that and David Gilmour's final solo is just astonishing.Pulse is great I love it.And unfortunatly I have never liked Pink Floyd I've felt like there songs drone on and on monotonously and they are all slow depressing and dare I say it, annoying. But I do enjoy them from time to time, like I said, I love PULSE they are amazing life, but otherwise they're just dull to me. One of the only bands where I would call some of their albums "mindblowing".But I've always thought that Floyd should've been remembered for more than The Wall and Dark Side..., as, for example, I would consider Wish You Were Here to be their best album.
