redapple
Do you like 'em? I love Dire Straits, Mark Knopfler has got to be one of my favourite musicians with his guitar playing, songwriting and i like his voice too.
Raincoats
Feel the exact same way. "Sultans of Swings" is one of the best songs of all-time. Amazing guitar solo on that track. Obviously, his picking-style makes the band. Though, his lyrics, which are heavily influenced by Bob Dylan, are great.Good choice. jericho2u
"Heavy Fuel", "Walk of Life", "Brothers In Arms", "Sultans of Swing", "Money For Nothing", "Ride Across The River", "So Far Away From Me", "Romeo & Juliet"... I could go on and on... Dire Straits is fantastic, and Mark Knopfler is one of the most technically sound guitarists of our time.
