Dazed&Confused
Folowing on from Sunny's OK Computer vs Achtung Baby thread i've had a pleasant surprise listening to a bit of U2 and they've put me in mind of early Bunnymen.Any Bunnymen fans on here? If not give them a listen, their first four albums are untouchable from that era in my opinion.http://www.amazon.co.uk/Crocodiles-25th-Anniversary-Remastered-Expanded/dp/B0000E2PY3/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1268394153&sr=8-1http://www.amazon.co.uk/Heaven-Up-Here-Anniversary-Remastered/dp/B0000E2Y8Z/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1268394176&sr=1-1http://www.amazon.co.uk/Porcupine-25th-Anniversary-Remastered-Expanded/dp/B0000E2PY4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1268394202&sr=1-1http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ocean-Rain-Echo-Bunnymen/dp/B0000E2PY6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1268394221&sr=1-1Highly recommended! Estranged Reality
I like them, but was more into them a few years ago for whatever reason. "Nothing Lasts Forever" is underrated.

LightningBolt
Heaven Up Here is pretty good. I'll admit I haven't come close to listening to all their albums, though.
Marky
Saw them in 2007 and thought they were pretty decent. I remember them being really, really good on Jools Holland's show the other year, proper band.

Lithium
Great band. "The Killing Moon" is great in Donnie Darko.
Guest deleted_19765
Great band. "The Killing Moon" is great in Donnie Darko.Yeah, this is how I know them. I downloaded quite a few of their songs back in the Kazaa days. "Nothing Lasts Forever" was indeed a beautiful one, I was always surprised at how new it was. The one song I really want to hear again after entering this thread is "Ocean Rain", what an awesome song. I think they were one of the best produced bands of their time, with a good mix of electric/acoustic guitar sounds that just perfectly complemented the singer. They are like the less depressing Cure in some ways. I will definitely listen to them more again now.
