Vincent Vega
Am I the only one who thinks they should've released Cornshucker? Not on Lies, but held it, retooled it a little maybe and released it in 1994/1995.It has a very grungy groove to it and could've been tooled to sound grungy, perhaps keeping or changing the lyrics.Releasing that as a single in 1994 or 1995 with a re-recorded "Ain't Goin Down" (Gilby says they were still working on it when he was in the band and never quite finished it, so it does appear they intended to do something with it) as a B-Side and that might've been a good idea. Guest Sleeping Like An Angel
Not sure about releasing it as a single but if it was to be produced properly they would have to change those lyrics. Unless they kept it as a sort of filler on a album for the fans to enjoy and have a laugh at but Guns are a serious band so I can't see that happening. Although you could argue because of the likes of Used To Love Her, My World and maybe Anything Goes that they have a lighter side? You know I really can't decide whether or not they could make this one work

Spoon87
I really don't see how that song sound grungy, but it's a kick ass song nevertheless.Where SFTD was "the sound of a band breaking up", Cornshucker is the sound of a band having fun. HowlinWolf
If they were to ever record an album again, I think it would be cool for them to include Cornshucker and Shadow Of Your Love on it..
bacardimayne
To be fair it's shit! Bit of a drunken laugh but you could never put it on a record.I think it'd work quite well as a hidden track.
Tit0kinz
I see it as more of a joke song, to give the audiences a laugh. Not anything to be taken seriously. Could have been released on an EP like "I Used To Love Her" did I guess.
