makkonen Posted March 24, 2013 Share Posted March 24, 2013 Hello Marc!Do you know anything about her and why was she chosen to sing backing vocals of November Rain?Was she friend of the band or just kinda "session singer"...i mean two other backing vocals are credited to Stuart Bailey and Shannon Hoon...makes me wonder why she got the job. recklessroad Posted March 24, 2013 Share Posted March 24, 2013 I knew her, she used to hang out at Canter's Kibitz Room in 1991/9992 but I don't know how she ended up doing some vocals for the band. My guess is Axl heard her sing and gave her a tiny job doing some vocals on the song. If Axl sees something in someone, he sometimes will try to put it to good use. recklessroad Posted March 26, 2013 Share Posted March 26, 2013 (edited) No, I don't think they would have added anyone else to the band, Maybe someone like Teddy when it was time to tour. Also They didn't know Rami at that time. Dizzy was someone they hung out with before the band was even signed, That is why they let him in latter on.
