CrustyTony18 Posted April 18, 2003 Share Posted April 18, 2003 Just to set the record straight, Slash has said in nterviews that he thought it would be cool to see was the new GnR was about. he didn't actually try to get tickets or anything. word got to Axl that Slash was coming to Vegas for something entriely differentand he freaked out, Slash never attempted to get in or get tickets so in actuality he never was turned away because he never tried. Howie Posted April 18, 2003 Share Posted April 18, 2003 Crusty, it's true he didn't try getting tickets but he did try to sneak in...He even found one guy who would sneak him in but somehow they found out and that plan failed. Slash even said he would just lay low in the back where he couldn't be seen. He gave up but he said he ended up partying with some old GNR crew guys...I think the whole rule that no ex-members are allowed in is pretty lame...Considering if it weren't for the ex-members there would be no new gnr.
