"New Yorker" story on Man Booker Prize winner Marlon James: "[When] he heard “Sweet Child O’ Mine” for the first time, the bridge made him sob"

It's just a GNR mention on a non-GNR story

Worth posting because it shows the power of the song and how far it went and how far it took GNR

It went all the way to Jamaica and to every distant corner of the world where MTV didn't even exist

GNR conquered the planet and became the biggest band on the planet thanks mainly to that song and to that album

years before the illusion era, years before November Rain
