Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
I don't think that Back in Black gives Johnson much of an advantage over Bon. I've heard the brothers Young claim that the transition was eased by a wealth of material ready to be put down, and I think Bon could have made these classic riffs very much his own if he had survived. 3rd Wheel
BonYesBon-eraDon't enjoy Brian Johnson-era...I think he's a good fit for AC/DC, but that's about the only big name band he would be a good fit for...I get headaches listening to the songs on back in black and thunderstruck.....the only good song they made from 1980 onward was "Who Made Who"

Big Boy Sixxx
1 - bon2- difficult to say - highway to hell was where they started to get big on the world scene and back in black was pretty much written before bon died in 1980 which was where everything really kicked off. however as its mainly angus and malcom who write the tunes i imagine the front man is fairly inconsequential.3- bon, although thundertruck is damn fine. unfortunately for brian - highvoltage and highway to hell are just awesome
