johnezz
Keith Moon is without a doubt the greatest drummer in rock IMO, he was the Hendrix of drumming, he invented alot of techniques and is the most influentual. My favourite drummer though, and the one i would rate no 2, would be Neil Peart, his drumming is so elegant and melodic. Really, theres no drummer that compares to him, its a joy to listern to his drumming. Also very underrated drummers are Michael Giles, Bill Bruford and Carl Palmer. Palmer particulay, i love his style. And i can't believe no one has said Dave Lombardo, i mean fuck, he invented the double bass pedal and still the best at it. Yamisonic
The reason I think Bonzo made the group is from listening to live performances, he just pushed the music to fever pitch night in and night out, and they truly could not have gone on without him. They didn't And I think the best drummers are Mitch Mitchell, John Bonham, Ringo Starr, Neil Peart and Ginger Baker.Holy shit, I can't believe I forgot Keith Moon. Rest in peace dude. Edited February 26, 2006 by Yamisonic
Alan Niveen
A couple of years ago there were rumours about Dave Grohl replacing John Bonham. It didn't work I guess. Both are great, but I prefer Charlie Watts to Ringo.Dave Grohl did a pretty good job in Nirvana...Lars Ulrich.
