I do like the Beatles as a whole, as what they brought to the musical table was awesome, but as individuals, they were stupid. Too involved in politics, Lennon then and Macca now. I don't care who was better at different 'eras', because without each other, they wouldn't have been anything. Personally, I prefer Macca if forced to choose, however only because he survived longer and thus I've been exposed to him for longer.
