adnan
Cocaine & After Midnight being the highlight of the hits that Clapton had hand-tailored for him from Cale.Anyways, anybody ever hear anything by him? I always thought he deserved more attention.
adnan
Here's his original version of Cocaine btw:http://us.share.geocities.com/gnrpwnnirvan...CALECocaine.mp3It's basically the same as Clapton's version, all Clapton did was add a little virtuosity and better solos. Makes me feel bad for Cale.

Eric says that he prefers JJ Cales version than his own. Cale really digs clapton for using his songs, btw. just thought id add that bit. I was just saying how much it would've sucked for Cale for Clapton to get so much recognition for his lyrics/guitar riffs/way of singing for these songs. Because they're poor covers, great songs, poor covers. All Clapton does in them is basically copy the original. But the topic is about CALE. C'mon guys, no comments about this cult favorite? Miss Murder
J.J. Cale sounds familiar, but I never knew that Eric Clapton took a couple of his songs.I'm not the biggest Eric Clapton fan though.
