Why no sellout yet?

I'm looking at $165 for the ticket. $350 for the flight. About $100 for the hotel room. Plus eats and drinks. IT totals to less than $600 for a wild weekend in Vegas.

you will end up spending a lot more being in vegas. plus it'll be 100 bucks per night at the cheapest. the plus side is, you could always end up going home with everything you spent, or even more.. if you play your cards right :)

I've already got a hotel room for less than $100 a night, divided by the other people going to stay in the room, and it is dirt cheap. Plus, I don't play cards much. I might spend $50 in the casinos, at the most.

i like the wheel of fortune slots the most. i made $800 on them back in January. :shades:

Oooh the Wheel of Fortunes are my fav! I can sit in front of them for hours!

This trip is costing me a pretty penny already being that I am coming from NY but I think it will be worth every cent.

Actually, if you put in four or more tickets, you can only get obstructed view seats. This show is going to be sold out shortly.

Presale started Friday morning. It's now Monday eveniing and still not sold out?

looks like the Saturday show will sell out fairly soon now.

It's a lot of money for some people so I am not surprised it isn't fully sold yet but it will...but especially because there are other shows in somewhat of the same general vicinity people are probably just looking to spend less cash or are waiting to see of more dates are added closer to them to make a final decision-

to A_D-I saw those rollercoasters online and I am all over them!!

i just check at ticketmaster for the 16 show there at 118 seats which is like 118 tickets sold. they have a long way to go to get to 1500

How do you know they sold 118 seats? i dont think theres any way to tell base don what info they give you

its about. it probally changed by now. ticketmaster uses this to keep track on how many tickets has been sold but its a differnt story for the balcony seats, that number was just for GA tickets sales.

No surprise it didn't sell out (or at least hasn't yet). He couldn't sell out the US with this act before, what makes you think he'll sell it out now? There are too many things to spend entertainment dollars on to blow $150 on a cover band. Shit, you can see other GnR cover bands for 10% the price or less and get the same songs and cheaper beer.

$150 to see Slash, Izzy, Duff, and whoever drumming - well worth it.

$150 to see a cover band play the same songs again - no thanks, and that is why it isn't selling out fast.

Reality is going to slap Axl in the face if he thinks he can tour the US with no CD release and the same old tired act and be successful. This isn't Europe. We have other things to do than see a has been and a bunch of never beens. Without a CD release to give this band some hope for credibility, failure is the only option. America isn't full of people like Axls Dillusional...we won't accept anything just because someone purchased a brand name.

Don't you belong back in the Velvet Revolver section? They just added a bunch of new dates all over CA and trust me this tour is going to sell and the other shows are more reasonably priced for folks who do not want to spend the $150. So Axl is covering himself now, explain this to me because I just don't get it. The other guys left the band willingly and were replaced. It doesn't make them lesser musicians but they are no longer part of GNR.

What's funny about people like you is if a reunion DID happen you would LOVE Axl again. But since it isn't happening, you slam the man for carrying on with other fantastic musicians.

Guest Apollo

The high price might be because it's in a "vacation" setting.

Places like Reno and Vegas are chocked full of people on vacation. That often attracts a different crowd than playing in Tacoma or Albany.

boy is this post dumb. have you not realized izzy has been pretty much at all the shows, and im assuming he will be here too.

sooo....

axl, dizzy, izzy is greater than slash and duff (no disrespect at all to them), so there goes your whole point.

sorry pal, time to run along now.

People like me aren't slamming him for carrying on with other fantastic muscians, we slam him for his lack of creativity in this tour. His lame setlist with his little dance moves from back in the day that come off kinda silly sometimes aren't cuttin it.

By including Dizzy, you've just lost your point. Other than whoever happens to be the drummer and the effects guy, Dizzy is the biggest waste of space on stage.

GnR is Axl, Slash, Izzy and Duff. Last time I checked, they have been successful on every album that involved these 4. I'm fairly sure that after 8 years together, the "fantasic musicians" haven't produced a single piece of material that was successful, much less an album. Now they can't sell out shows that would have sold out in a second with the 4 I mentioned playing them.

Way to make a strong point. :rofl-lol:

Haven't you been ripped apart enough on here already? Even the people that support your side are telling you to shut up. Do yourself a favor and listen to them. Funny how you only choose to attack me here, the only forum that will allow you to do so since you've been put in your place everywhere else.

By the way, Axl never has had a good sustainable live voice, never has outside of the studio. For some reason, he never has been able to reproduce anything close to the studio voice live other than brief spurts. That is not an opinion. You may choose to like his live voice, that's fine, but he can't even come close to replicating his studio sound, even when he's standing still.

dude just stop, you are obviously here to just throw shit around and hope something sticks. based on your reasoning axl & izzy is equall to slash and duff, so your logic is just faulty. and please dont talk shit, last year when i saw VR in sf at the civic auditorium the show did not sell out, and tickets were only $20-$35, and sadly the stage was more crowded for hoobastank, cuz when they got off the stage it was breeze to walk up to the railing during vr's whole performance. but do i really give a fuck, am i gonna go to the vr section and post shit like this? no dude.

get lost bro.

it hasn't happened anywhere. He always tries to get into confrontations with me on another board, but the mods have never ever ever given me a hard time for his shit. like i said, he's just a silly slash cupcake who doesn't even support the band and he's only here to give shit to the real fans of this band .

Yet you do the same with Finck. Does that make you a 'Finck cupcake'?
