DirtyDeeds
Hey potential helpers...I am friggen stupid. I wish I was computer literate, or at least computer aware. Anyway, I just bought the Adobe Photoshop CS2 for Mac off of Amazon. I have a new MacBook Pro with the new Intel DuoCore Processor. Being an idiot and seeing "Oh, look, it says it's for Mac!" I bought it. However, the system requirements say it needs a PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 Processor, and Mac OS X v. 10.2.8 through v 10.4.1. Like I said, I have the Intel DuoCore Processor. And I have Mac OS X 10.4.7. So.... can I install some sort of a driver or whatever it is called that adapts it to my new system? Or did I just buy a product that I'll never be able to use? If so, can I return it to Amazon for my money back, even though I did take it out of the packaging and attempted to install it (that's how I learned of the problem)?I hate my lack of computerness sometimes.... Bromle
maybe you should have a look at apple.com???I think their support section will help you a hell of a lot better then we do. And I'm really not sure what to say. But I think it will run on your hardware. And I think your OS is just newer. And that doesn't mean worse compatibility in computer language. So I think you will be fine. But look around and apple.com just to make sure

Max™
Newer OSX versions (like the one shipped with your Mac) should have the ability to run older PPC programs within a set up environment. In simple terms: Yes.
