Guest Yanni_16
To expand upon the Weiland vs. Cornell thread, who was the best overall frontman of the grunge bands. I'm gonna have to say Cornell over the rest of them, just because the voice on that guy is miles ahead of the rest. I think Weiland has the most stage presence out of all of them. Cobain was a good songwriter, but very overrated. Not too crazy about Vedder. And I haven't heard enough of Alice in Chains' material to give concise judgement on Staley. Edit: My bad, I added a poll but for some reason the piece of shit didn't go through. The options I listed were:-Kurt Cobain-Eddie Vedder-Chris Cornell-Layne Staley-Other (Please specify) Edited September 29, 2006 by Yanni_16

Dead Flower
jerry cantrellBrilliant guitarist. But I think Kurt deserves the title of God of Grunge, considering Nirvana were actually a real "grunge" band unlike Soundgarden, AiC and especially Pearl Jam. King Dick
weiland is a poor mans vedder or layne. Those two and Kurt have had a much much much larger impact on music.
SylvesterStallone
Cornell and Staley easily. Always thought Cobain, while a great musician, was overrated and I was never a fan of Vedder.
