LightningBolt
Sucks about Mastodon. They would've been one of the ones I wanted to see most.
Guest Satanisk_Slakt
So I am back from the festival. Band-wise, it was the very best one ever. Many great concerts! The weather was utter shit though. I saw these bands, and this is how I rated them:Wednesday:Michael Monroe 6/10The Quireboys 7/10UDO 5/10Thursday:Nazareth 6/10Treat 5/10Blackberry Smoke 5/10Pendragon 7/10Slayer 6/10The Quireboys (Acoustic) 6/10Danzig 6/10Aerosmith 5/10Friday:Chicken Shack 7/10Billy Idol 8/10Gary Moore 8/10Saturday:Unisonic 6/10Opeth 6/10WASP 8/10Guns N' Roses 9/10The one with Axl was one of the best I've been to. Aerosmith was disappointing. They were much better last time I saw them. WASP was really really great! Great to hear good old songs that they haven't played since '84/'85, like Widowmaker, Love Machine, Hellion, etc.
Lithium
Why didn't you see Rick Springfield?
Guest Satanisk_Slakt
I am more dissatisfied with the fact that I missed Bachman & Turner. I completely forgot to go to that.
eye2eye
Rick Sprinfield was great !! I thought it would be some lame ass pop rock but he it wasn't. He played really guitar driven set with tons of solos and even one totally bluesy tracks and his stage presence - WOW !! He blowed anybody else considering stage presence in my opinion. Aerosmith was cool "Dream On" rocked and their set wasn't so much after "reunion" crap and played many awesome songs like "King and Queens" I would rate performances that way - Michael Monroe - 7/10- Quireboys - 7/10- U.D.O - 4.10 - Stone Sour 8/10 - Nazareth - 7/10 - Y&T - 5/10 - Death Angel 4/10 - Pretty Maids 3/10 - Blackberry Smoke 6/10 - Sabaton 8.5/10 - Quireboys(acoustic) - 8.5/10 - I was in front row and in was magical, really cool performance - Danzig - 2/10- Aerosmith 7/10 - D.A.D 5/10 - Rick Springfield 9/10 - Steel Panther 7/10- Cinderella 5/10 - Billy Idol 8.5/10 - Gary Moore 5/10 - Epica 5.5/10 - Winger 7/10 - Opeth 5/10 - Bachman & Turner - 8/10 - Guns N' Roses - 9/10 I wished to see W.A.S.P but decided to take place in front row for Guns N' Roses and I managed that even got high five from DJ Ashba so it was worth missing W.A.S.P to have awesome place to watch GN'R -
