After the Guns N' Roses rocker couldn't get a table Monday night at Aspen Social Club, where investment bankers were having a private party, he headed to the rooftop Highbar down the street. "Rose came with a young Asian woman who stuck close by his side and another couple," said a source. Later, the group ended up at Greenhouse for karaoke. Although Rose never took the mike, one patron who'd been staring at him in awe finally got up enough courage to sing his own version of "Welcome to the Jungle," to Rose's amusement.Read more: http://www.nypost.com/p/pagesix/coming_up_rose_kmHPO9bQnU9FSF8IkaxtWJ#ixzz0uXczB2MD

guns_and_rust
Comments on that piece are nasty, damn.Where does all this anger vented towards Axl come from, I mean really? What level of knowledge about Axl's, performances and music of the past 15 years do the people that leave comments like that have?I guess not much.I'm glad I've got better things to do with my time than writing hateful, ignorant comments like that about celebrities.Sorry, I had to get that off my chest! By the way, is you sig about Slash, just curious.yeah here's the full quote''I never said that I was bitter,'' Rose explains, characteristically concerned with making fine distinctions. ''Hurt, yeah. Disappointed. I mean, with Slash, I remember crying about all kinds of things in my life, but I had never felt hot, burning tears...hot, burning tears of anger. Basically, to me, it was because I am watching this guy and I don't understand it. Playing with everyone from Space Ghost to Michael Jackson. I don't get it. I wanted the world to love and respect him. I just watched him throw it away."

Lose Your Illusions
effort Really? Not to be a dick, but didn't the guy basically sit on his ass for the better part of 17 years?15 songs? We've heard from numerous people, including Zutaut, thats there is more material. Zutaut said 70, others said 30, 40 etc.truth is we dont know. but id trust Zutaut over anybody, and 70 songs is not exactly sitting on your ass.CD did take effort, regardless of the time it took for a release. suckerpunched03
i love people's entitlement. axl rose doesnt owe you shit. if you pay for tickets, he owes you a concert. if hes not there, the promoter owes you a refund. people need to grow up. "15 songs in 17 years..." were you paying axl rose and did he work for you in the last 17 years? i didnt think so. whats ironic is everyone here that thinks they are owed something are the first ones to steal a leaked track
