Oddly could this be the push

Recommended Posts

Richards other band The Dead Daisies are getting heaps of publicity here in Oz in particular being an "auatralian" band the general public & media are only now finding out who he is & how long he's been in GNR and that GNR are still active. Could this publicity rub off onto GNR same as when Sixx am do their world tour in 2015/2016 ?

Yeah they've toured a lot but so many radio stations etc and media outlets had (have) no idea they are still around. Both GNR concerts i went to sooooo many people in the line were saying how their looking forward to seeing Slash. In all seriousness. It's a very select few as the biggest venue GNR have sold out since hell 2007 was 12.5K. When Chi Dem was first released it was played on launch night with everyone saying slash was on guitar including the DJ's from MMM who someone got Slash to endorse their radio station and do their theme, which is pretty cool tbh.

The push towards what exactly, mainstream relevance?

Whether you like it or not, very few people care about post-Slash GNR line-ups.

Why do certain GNR fans concern themselves with the fantasy that GNR might become relevant again? That's Axl's job. All you can do is lend your support.

Sorry OP, but because you heard some casual fans discussing Slash, and some idiotic radio dj's random comments, doesn't mean no one here in Oz knows about Guns still being around. CD peaked at 3 on the album charts, and last tour they were all over tv and radio. I remember a few tv spots showed up on here as threads. Most people couldn't name the entire correct lineups of most bands, unless they were hardcore fans.
