  1. One really positive thing to come out of this is that Fernando is no longer managing the GNR brand. He's not running the social media, not posting pics of hot girls he wants to bang, not tweeting at Taylor Momsen.

A professional agency clearly is in charge of the GNR brand now, which is remarkable. "Fortune 500 Fernando" thankfully is sidelined from managing "his band".

Do you know this because of the trailer? I was just trying to figure out how you knew for sure. Would be awesome if so!

  2. I don't think he was being sarcastic in that bit. If he does this reunion he has to be shape. If he comes out looking like he did on the last tour(s), it will be a huge let down for everyone involved. People say they don't care, but they do...he will look better, sound better, and feel better. Here's to hoping that happens for the sake of this entire thing...

  3. I'm assuming people forgot about Slash's brother commenting on Axl being on a strict diet. That says it all right there. The last time he got into top shape was 2006 when he started believing in Chinese Democracy again (even though it came out 2 years later). I'm fairly certain that it's going down.

  4. As I put in my post earlier, the 80's with something to prove Axl has to come back for this tour. If he comes back in 09-14' form it will ruin it for me/everyone else involved in my opinion. I'm pretty sure he's taking time off to get back in shape and get his vocals in check, but just in case he reads this I want him to be extra motivated. I saw him in Vegas in 2001 after he was out of shape in his Rio comeback, and came back completely shredded with his vocals honestly sounding better than ever. Even Silkworms sounded great, because he had that raw power in his voice. We need any Axl from the 88,91,93, or 2001 to comeback and make this tour successful (hell I'll even take parts of 2006). It could be great, if Axl decides to put his heart and soul into it and not half ass it.

  5. #1 topic trending on facebook.....

There's no way in hell Axl, TB, or Slash would let this whole thing blow up THAT MUCH if it was BS.

I guess this is the calm before the storm

It has to be. Way too many people claiming they've heard this or they've heard that. I can see this happening, but the only way it can be successful is if we get the mid-80's hungry Axl Rose ready to pounce on one of his biggest feats ever. If he comes back as the 2009-2014 Axl Rose, I don't see very many people caring too much. Get in shape and get that voice back man! I saw you do it when you came back in Vegas in 2001 after being out of shape in Rio....you can do it now!!!

  6. I've been tinkering around with a video I made and added some Axl and Buckethead to the mix. I think it fit together pretty nicely. Vimeo was having an 80's concept contest and I figured I would put this in the mix, but I really like how the harmonies of Axl/Buckethead turned out. It's not meant to go platinum or be taken too seriously, but I like the way it came out overall. I added a buddy of mine to the last section before the last Axl/Buckethead harmony and wasn't sure about it at first, but I thought it would be something different to have him rapping over a small part...anyways here it is..
