  1. This sounds crazy, but I was 17 at the time when I saw gnr at the joint in 2001. They played this live and blew everyone away. My dad was with me in the front row and kept asking me what it was. I'm telling you, in a loud close up setting, the song is beyond killer. Axl really sounded good on it that night.

Yeah, Let There Be Rock gets played at every show.

Any chance to score decent seats at a decent price besides the usual sites? I would like to get three or four pit tickets if possible. I figured some of you may know the hook-up for the Columbus, OH show on Sunday.

i dont understand what it means...

are you saying you're going to take this banner to other shows?

Instead of Nashville it was Slashville. This was a one show only type of thing. I just thought it would be a great idea to come up with something original while at the same time singing every lyric to every song. We were in Row A, so we just did a play on words for the entire thing. Row A=Row (A)XL...

    still makes no sense :shrugs:

    is Slash from Nashville?

    and why the (A)XL??

LOL at taking the banner to other shows, obviously this is a one off for NASHVILLE, TN. Hilarious.

  4. Some people were asking me where to find pictures of this, so I figured I would just put up a direct post to it. I had 8 other people come with me to this show to help hold it up. Everyone seemed to love it before we had to take it down. The other side of the stadium's VIP boxes were empty, so we figured we didn't have anyone below us. It still isn't blocking anyone's view though! Anyway, just wanted some other gunners to see the work we put into it, and who knows maybe the band will be able to see it somehow.

It was a joke buddy, relax.

I know man, I guess I have a soft spot for people that put time into banners/posters. If it's intruding on someone's view, I get it. In that case, we were in the front row of that section and weren't blocking anyone to my knowledge until I saw the picture..lol. Which it still looks like they can see just fine..haha.

Ha, nice sign.  Pretty sure it had to do with the size and that it's hanging halfway down the front of a VIP box....lmao.

Yes, we had no clue anyone is the box since the boxes directly opposite of us were empty. People were loving it..considering I'm 6'4" 205 pounds and some weak concert goers behind me asked me to sit down, because I was singing the lyrics to every song and enjoying myself doing the Axl sway (including the Chinese Democracy songs). I wasn't there to sit in silence! :)

Yeah, if I was in that box I would have ripped it down myself.

As stated previously that was my guess to why it was taken down. We couldn't tell if people were in the box, because the boxes on the other side of the stadium were empty, so we hung it. I'm glad they didn't get the tough guy mentality like you though and try that. I would've sprinted down there and got it back ASAP. Too much work into that piece. I had eight people go with me, so we had a blast hanging it for the time being.
