None of the original memebrs will come back while Axl is involved with CD. They left because Axl wanted to take Guns in that direction, so why come back while hes still doin it?

I think any feud between Axl and the rest is done. Sounds like theyve all grown up, forgive and forget n all that. Once Axl phones Slash & Duff, or one of them phones Axl, and they just start talkin again, a reunion will be more likely. I cant see a reuion until they try and have some sort of friendship away from music first.

Im still very confident a reunion will happen though.

No good could have come from Axl sayin "Slash is still in my ass. Hes a fuckin dick..." etc etc. Axl spent a long time with the other guys and obviously became extremely close to them. They were practically family, so he would obvious miss them in some capacity.

Theres no politics or agenda in Axl sayin that he wishes his ex bandmates good luck. Hes luck seen that he probably has bigger things to deal with at the moment!

Hopefully, theyll start talkin some time. Even if they dont get back together, one of them should pick up the phone!

I think Axl has written songs about others band members but without wordin it literally, so it could easily be about other subjects. Im pretty sure hes written a song about the old members at some point, I wouldnt be surprised if there were more than one.

I've thought since sometime mid-last-year that CD would be out by this summer, mainly after hearing the Da Vinci Code Rumor.

Da Vinci comes out May 19. If GN'R perform a single for the album, it's likely it will be released about two weeks to a month in advance of the film (as most soundtracks are). This gives the single time to hit the charts before releasing the actual Chinese Democracy album - like they did with Knockin' On Heaven's Door (late 1990) and YCBM (1991).

This would leave June open (to wait until the film is on its way out of theaters).

June is 6/06.

Axl is including thirteen tracks on CD. Thirteen is infamously the most "unlucky number," and I don't think it's coincidence.

6/6/06 would be 6-6-6.

Of course, this would sound ridiculous without much "proof," but now we have Axl making his first public appearance in what, almost two years? And giving the first interview in about four years? And rumors about being in a RS issue talking about a summer release?

I think we'll see CD this June.

Keep in mind I'm aware no single has been confirmed for Da Vinci Code, but Axl is very smart at marketing and playing these types of "hype games" - and I believe now that he's given interviews and made appearances, him meeting fans in Malibu and saying he was working on a track ofr Da Vinci Code is far more of a possibility than an unsubstantiated nonsense rumor as we thought it may have been before.

Sound theory. If DVC rumour is confirmed, then CD is out this summer, which will be awesome.

The Omen 666 is out on June 6th this year too, so that idea has been nabbed by others too.

DVC was first published in April 2003.

Personally I dont see how the lyrics can immediately point to religion. Obviously the background screens on the 02 tour showed religious themes, and I honestly dont know why, because I dont think the song was written with any kind of religion or religous group in mind, so IMO Axl would write a new song for DVC soundtrack.

Maddy would be a good way to get ppl talkin about Guns again though, coz its probably the song with the most pullin power that we've heard off CD so far.
