They probably don't want cell phone footage of Mickey Mouse vocals on Perhaps before the song comes out. Thinking they'll release it first and then play it like with Hardschool
That’s the most probably scenario

How does that explain Absurd, then?
Technically, it was played in 2000/2001.

They didn’t play hard skool until it was officially released. Don’t believe they will do the different with perhaps.

People (myself included) tend to overestimate Beta and TB´s influence over Axl.
Axl does whatever he wants.- 3

Management did nothing to stop the Juicebox “leak”

I don't think they care about a few people streaming the song on a bar jukebox or about a shitty cell phone recording. But they probably want to prevent potential cleaner recordings from circulating, so they have provided the metadata and as a result soundcloud removed the shitty recording, too (the metadata or the track itself have already been on youtube's system and that's why it didn't let upload the recording at all).
They can’t control internet (and they know). If they want to prevent high quality leaks, they have to remove it from the jukebox app.

It is not even safe to say TB is in charge of distribution. Most likely not.
Furthermore, why should they care? Premature release on jukeboxes in the USA isn't hurting sales nor does it interfere with whatever marketing they have planned. It is a negligible thing. Why bother to do anything?
Until a high quality version surfaces on internet… this may cause impact

Is it safe to assume leaving it up is intentional at this point on TB’s side? Like, they would’ve taken it down by now, surely, right?
Not saying they intentionally meant to release it only on this app- saying that by now they would’ve had to be notified and specifically haven’t requested a take down. Maybe they don’t care.
Yeah, that’s what i guess too.
-
Again, IMO, they could remove it from the app as soon GN’R makes a request.

I wonder if TouchTunes has any grounds to keep it on their service? They’ve probably received an uptick of users from this, I think none of us even knew what this was yesterday. I wonder if they would prefer to keep it on the service and if they have any legal grounds that they were signed to release it August 11, since the cancellation/delay of the song was done haphazardly.
They would remove it if GNR asked, no matter under agreement. They won’t fuck their future relationship with the GNR and the record company

If the song is still avaliable, that’s a really weird move from GNR camp.
Maybe this is not an accident at all

Of course. What did you expect?
Still avaliable on the juicebox app?

The song is still available in this app?

At least they can now release another recording of covers under the name “The Jukebox Incident”

It was posted in the new album thread last week. The company is The Syndicate or, abbreviated, The Syn.
I guess they will change it soon to “it was a pleasure to work with Guns N Roses bla bla bla” LinkedIn bullshit

For the record, my good friend is in Vegas right now and after the shit hit the fan last night and I told him what was going on, he went to 15 different bars in 2 hours just to keep playing this song repeatedly.
We are the best fanbase

It’s depressing. GNR camp can’t do anything right.

Listening to it right now.

Fernando, vai tomar no teu cu.
just a Portuguese message to the TB spy at this board

Maybe people in a crowded bar are listening to it right now and don’t even know wtf this song represents

Although I understand the frustration of those who came expecting a wonderful voice (myself included), I can hear that Axl's voice no longer has loss of sustain and emission when it goes to higher notes.
It does sound “brighter”

Yep. I edited that into my thoughts after a 2nd watch. Honestly, if we do get a couple of new songs (big IF) this year will go down as my favourite since 2016/17....due to band performance, chatty Axl, decent shape Axl, headlining Glasto!! And some awesome setlist returns, decent version of TWAT! Scotland finally getting in on reunion action! Etc. Honestly, it's been a pretty fun year thus far....at least it's unpredictable a bit again....god it had got real stale hadn't!
Not always...I think. Yea, that's a little struggle for him, those lines but the rest is quite fine, as long as you're a relastic person. I'm the wrong person to say but those there last night probably loved that performance, did you guys and gals?
That’s a perfect example of how (nowadays) he can only achieve raspier lines while screaming

Reading the comments reminds me of when Better leaked and we thought the bridge was a cut and paste from other songs.
I guess it will take some time to full understand this song
