  1. AEROSMITH will return to Europe for the first time in eight years in June of this year, according to NME.com.

Fresh from their U.S. with MÖTLEY CRÜE, and on the back of the 2006 release of the best-of compilation "Devil's got a New Disguise", the band will warm up their European leg of their tour with select dates in Dubai and India.

Speaking of their plans, singer Steven Tyler joked, "I always look forward to touring across the pond because life's a pisser when you're European."

The scheduled AEROSMITH dates are as follows:

May 31 - Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Autodrome

When did Dubai move in Europe?? :xmasschef2: :xmasschef2:

    When India did ;)

  2. shit i thought it was getting changed back?

i really wanted to see chinese dem being realeasld and the forum being the same as ever...............i feels as if the old skin never got too hear the album :no:

    It's getting changed back.

    Anyone know why ?

  3. Muse is Creative inspriation?

So they waited for Axl's Creative inspriation? But he never got it? or is Axl the muse? who did not show?

The muse is artistic inspiration. But it wasn't there....

To me that sound's stupid. Proffesional musicians could not finish they're 13-year's in the making album before the 2006 deadline in time cause they were not inspirated. They tried finishing before, during and after a tour, but couldn't.. hmm ? :drevil:

  4. Just talked to SpaceWorld in Norway, and they said if they were to sell a videogame or cd before it's releasedate they get a $80 000 fine.

Not relevant, but i thought i'd share.

  5. Don't count on an update that early though...

Agreed, don't hype up any date, cause you'll end up dissapointed.

Don't see why Axl would announce anything 8 weeks before anything is about to happen.

The next official statement i think will include a official releasedate, i'm thinking mid February with a late March release.

  6. Axl talked about This I Love in 1993. It's an old song. Who knows if it will be on the album ?

I doubt we'll see the song on CD. There was talk about this song when the old guys were together. The old band probably also played a demo of it. Hope it's on tho.

  7. "Immigrants and hooray for tolerance!s, they make no sence to me. they come to out country and think they'll do as they please. Like start some mini iran, or spread some fuckin disease"

    Before Bashing, remember!

"Radical's and rasist's don't point your fingers at me, i'm a small town whiteboy, just trying to make it as me"

  8. Ok, short and sweet topic.

I've waited to the end of the tour before casting my opinion, but Bumblefoot......I'm just not a fan. Don't get me wrong, I've tried, and I know the guy is an amazing musician - but nothing he has contributed has blown me away (with the exception of Don't Cry)and his presence on the live shows is total overkill.

One thing this tour has certianly cemented is just how good the combo of Finck and Forus are, amazing team and super stage presence (my opinion of Finck has shot straight up after hearing him live, the 'sloppy' criticism's are seriously unwarranted when you hear the guy in front of you - he brings something pretty unique to GNR). But Bumble, ....I dunno.....

Maybe Axl and Bumble will prove me wrong when the album comes out, but I doub't it.

It's not even the fact there are 3 guitarists, it's just sometimes his playing really blows..... His playing sounds imprecise, rushed, and really OTT (at least he's good for a showboat - we've all seen his cabaret 'right hand up the neck' trick. Oh, and at least he's a nice guy). I'm not against virtuoso guitarists, far from it, but at least Bucket hit us with some memorable solos and was remotely melodic. Bumble's style is just pure guitar wank........ JMO

    LA

    I disagree - strongly.

I think Axl's decision to bring Ron onboard was the smartest move he's made in years - both musically and from a PR perspective. I think Ron is talented and versatile as a guitarist, has good stage presence (which he didn't have when he first joined the band), and offers a great connection between the band and fans from a PR perspective. jmo.

im gonna agree 100% with you madison not because your the guy who can ban anyone but because i value that post

    :o

    ...

Bumble's cool, the guy rocked in Norway.

  9. I was just reading this old article

    http://web.gunsnroses.com/news/article.jsp...s&fext=.jsp

and wondered about this: "At a recent tuneup performance in Southern California, GN'R played most of their seminal debut album, Appetite For Destruction, including "Welcome to the Jungle," "Mr. Brownstone," "It's So Easy," "Sweet Child O'Mine," "You Could Be Mine ," "Nightrain" and "My Michelle," plus their well-known rendition of Bob Dylan's "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" and power ballads "November Rain," "Don't Cry" and "Patience.""

    Dont cry???

Heh, someone should buy the writer a copy of AFD.

That's not true.As a matter of fact I loved the 2002 look!It was supercool!!!BUT THIS?!I hate R&B clothes and I really hate leather jackets with jeans,it's too Backstreet boyslike.

    Ugg  :xmassrudolph:

  11. what would be interesting is if Izzy played on any of the new songs

Well a certain member on here who seems very reliable said Izzy co-wrote some of the songs on Chinese Democracy

I find it strange that the day after gnr4tea posted that Ron will be outed and Izzy will join, Izzy comes on for maybe 3 or 4 songs (I don't know if he did the encores too), and has his own solo. And Ron didn't have a solo, not even Don't Cry.

Izzy confirmed that he would do more shows with Axl right before christmas in September dude..
